With Vitor having so many players to choose from it does give him an opportunity to look elsewhere for players who can help bring home the three points tomorrow. He does have players that could freshen up matters, especially in his midfield. We have been saying it all week but Malick Yalcouyé and Melker Widell are both fit, and it’s no game for Jay Fulton who has been selected more by Matos than the two bright young midfielders. Zeidane Inoussa is fit, he fell badly on his arm at West Bromwich Albion. Stay on your feet is the message there. Vitor has commented more about personalities working together and the fans before this game. “We want everyone to have each other’s backs, the players are trying to find this confidence and consistency to deliver as well, because they know we need to improve and they are trying to. Then the fans can understand that we are one of them on the pitch, and we need them with us on the pitch, as well. That’s a relationship which we will need to give us a step forward, and I also believe that a step forward has to come from our side. We need to show that step forward and then everyone is on board.”

Vitor has had two games in charge where his side has scored three goals and conceded five. If you like goals come and watch the Swans. And that theme will continue tomorrow it seems there is around seventeen / eighteen thousand fans expected, possibly a few more.

⚽️ Swans danger man : The young Slovenian international striker has been on fire in front of goal for Swansea City this season, bagging nine goals in twenty appearances across all competitions. Of those nine goals, seven of them have come at the Swansea.com Stadium, and the 6ft 1" 23-year-old forward will be confident that he can help to guide his side in the right direction against an Oxford United defence with just two clean sheets this season.

In summer 2024 Poland International, Przemyslaw Placheta (above) left Swansea City after some serious injuries. The Swans kept him on during the summer giving him total treatment so he could recover. He was contracted from January 2024 from Norwich City. He has since found his feet and is considered a danger man for the U’s scoring a superb goal against Ipswich Town last weekend.
