Swans head coach, Vitor Matos will make changes tomorrow for the 2:30pm FA Cup tie at home to West Bromwich Albion at the swansea.com. We covered the obvious changes pre Vitor’s pre match talk yesterday.

⚽️ Thats here WBA pre match 1

West Bromwich Albion have sold a few hundred tickets for this fixture and the Swans in the region of six thousand, however as we have already stated this week a bigger than normal walk up is expected. The Baggies play the Swans for the third time in six weeks tomorrow. The first fixture at the Hawthorns the Swans threw away 3-2 after leading 2-0. The second was a win at the swansea.com by a 1-0 scoreline. Jay Fulton hitting a superb winner.

Since then Baggies head coach Ryan Mason has been sacked and James Morrison is the new temporary man in charge. On the game he states, “We are well-prepared for the game on Sunday. We only played Swansea two weeks ago so we know what type of test to expect. We also only played them at the end of November too so we know a lot about them and the way their manager wants them to play. We’ve reviewed the game we had against them on New Year’s Day. I’m expecting them to make a couple of changes, as we might, but they’ll have the same principles. Their manager likes to press and they like to play 4-3-3 so we know what to expect. For us, it’s about trying to figure out how to exploit it. We’re looking forward to Sunday and representing the football club as best as we can. We’re all determined to try our best to get a positive result and get through to the next round of the FA Cup. The lads have been fighting and they’ve been scrapping and our main focus is trying to find a win away from home on Sunday.”

Morrison can’t be anything other than confident, however a rethink on the Swans formation may well be a good idea ? Morrison will also make changes and has a few injury concerns, “Alex Mowatt will be out. He took a bang on his foot again. He was unlucky in terms of picking up that injury against Leicester the other night. We’re pretty sure he’ll be ok leading into the following weeks. Jayson Molumby will be getting a test on Saturday before the game. Harry Whitwell will be in the squad. He came back into the building earlier this week and it looks like he’s grown a couple of inches and filled out. I’ve followed his performances at Forest Green and he’s done well. We’ve got some players who are 50/50 at the moment, but we’ll be going as strong as possible to try and win the game. There might be some young players involved too, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Vitor Matos has given little away and speculation is abound regards a first eleven. As stated previously there will be changes, Andy Fisher should start in goal, new signing Joel Ward is in contention as is forward Bobby Wales. Ollie Cooper will be in the match day squad we are told. Any change in defence will involve Kaelan Casey stepping in at centre back of there’s no movement between times from his parent club West Ham United. Ishé Samuels-Smith is also in contention having started last weekend at Millwall in a disappointing end to the game after so much hard work had been put in.

Matos has stated he will put out his strongest eleven - that he thinks will win the game.

We have already reported on Crystal Palace forward, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi this afternoon. Here’s the latest -
