Focusing on the city he states has captured his heart the American rapper has even gone further with his plans to attract people in their many thousands to Swansea.

The Mirror report that Snoop has a lot on his mind as the Swans look to a ‘shackles off’ finish to the season. “I got a ten year plan to make Swansea the Vegas of Wales. Don't think I am playing - I got the connections to get the best chefs, I got connections with businessmen who can finance world class hotels and clubs.” Those are bold words which will no doubt resonate with Swans board member Tyler Morse who operates within the top of the hotel food chain in the states. The businessman is used to the daily pressure of managing billions of pounds worth of assets of nearly a hundred and fifty hotels. A Swansea City supporter of many years he will no doubt be in a position to drive this forwards. He purchased the post office tower two years ago for three hundred million pounds, an investment which increases in price by thousands a day.

Snoop believes he can achieve his plans as success at the club grows. “I want to bring a little fun for my people in Swansea, but when the players start winning trophies I am gonna need somewhere for them to celebrate in style. On his favourite town, Las Vegas he states.”They have the best chefs, the best clubs, the best hotels, the best casinos, and of course the biggest artists in the world playing there. I know when the biggest artists tour globally, when they hit The UK they do London, Manchester, Glasgow, and sometimes Cardiff, that ain’t the thought to do Swansea. All that is about to change, we’ve got a twenty thousand seater stadium and I am going to pull some strings to make sure the best artists in the world start performing there.” That’s some commitment. Of course when you are dealing with tabloid reports written by ‘showbiz’ people there are discrepancies such as stating the Wrexham owners had their own commentary experience on Saturday as opposed to Friday evening.

We can accept that, the point of these reports is to glamourise any news they can but the quotes are confirmed as accurate. The Snoop bandwagon moves on albeit at a slower rate than some would like, but it’s moving. With every week that passes the huge following that Swansea City have is given more exciting news. What we can assure you is there is more to come with regards to the ground in the coming months, and a little bit of new investment. But that takes time.
