As QPR fans we all now have this as a special date. We will all remember where we were, how we felt etc, but reading the I Cried!!!! thread it struck me what a special day this was already for a few people for births/deaths. As I was leaving the house for Wembley, my wife reminded me that we first met on a school trip to watch the Harlem Globetrotters at Wembley Arena 24th May 1979. Perhaps it was "written"! Not that I beleive in such bollocks but was it already a special date already for anyone else? |  | | |  |
