Phew! He's turned down a move to Palace to fight for his place here. Really pleased. Although I wouldn't have him on my side at a pub quiz I certainly feel that he's one of the most improved players at the club, both in ability and attitude. Very glad he's decided to stay! Feel he is a bit of a liability at times but if he can offer us a commitment to the cause then his speed and new found upper body strength can only benefit the squad.
Someone who actually wants to stay and play. Given good coaching he could turn out to be a good asset.

Seems to be ticking off a list of problems in his game, hamstrings, strength...it remains a simple truth that he is a defensive Air-Head..he does not answer our need for a Left Back....however Lassanna Diarra can play left back, and is a fearsome tackler and carrier of the ball.
Great to see Armand Traore staying, be even better if he found the ability to remember what his job is.

All very odd. Given a new contract, manager talks him up and all seems good. A couple of weeks later manager trying to turf him out. When Harry doesn't like you your days are numbered, yet he featured yesterday and turned down a move to a club where he would probably start every week (when he's not injured) . I'm confused. |  |

If you'd have asked me a week ago, who would I rather see leave, Traore or Simpson ? I would have said Traore.
Not a great defender. Injury prone and although I USED to think he was the best crosser at the club. I don't anymore. His crosses are rare and more often he opts to cut inside. If his crosses were consistently that good, he be taking corners surely ?
