Would it be controversial to suggest that the manager appears to be happy enough with Logan's weight and conditioning to select him over Lillis (when he was fit) in the first place? If Logan's weight/conditioning have deteriorated since then, the club have some responsibility in that regard too

But it's more likely that any additional weight would be down to either not being conditioned correctly in training - or possibly not being able to sustain such conditioning due to the residual effects of his injury

Of course Hilly would have had the final say. And I think Joel was coming into the squad regardless but maybe Kitching was in response to Tanser going. Obviously just theorising here but if Tanser did approach Hill to leave just after getting back into the team I think I'd say see you later as well. You want to see players fighting for those first team places. Something may have gone on previously that has seen Scott not chosen more regularly but I'm not sure Hill is one to keep a grudge of any sorts, if you're willing to work hard you'll get another chance.
