Are there any other R's stupid enough to be attempting to run 13+ miles on Sunday in the north east?
It's my first 1/2 marathon for 27 years and although I've been training for it for the last 7 months,13 miles will seem a long way to run.

Dag Steve, if it was around the 10 mile Mark by a parade of shops that would be me and my family. Was up watching my daughter and her boyfriend run. Always a good day out and friendly atmosphere. Was that a Nike shirt you was wearing though....  |

My daughter did it in 2hours 15m and her boyfriend in 1 hour 56mins. They were both very happy with that and raised about £500 for Guide Dogs for the Blind |  | | |
