Just read in an article on the Independent Rs site that the late great Arthur Haynes was a QPR fan. Also mentions Charlie Chester was a fan too.

That's interesting because trying to remember who Arthur haynes was I discovered.

"With Charlie Chester he was part of the British Army's concert party troupe Stars in Battledress"

I seem to remember that at some point Charlie Chester was a member of the board?

From the News of the World obituary:

Charlie Chester used to tell a very funny war-time story about Arthur: ‘When they were waiting outside Caen, Haynes pointed to a trench full of mud and a million tiny frogs and said that nothing would get him in there. With that a German aircraft started firing near them and Arthur dived straight into the trench and later emerged covered in mud and frogs!’

That one is probably known to most on here. We've always punched above our weight in musician types, because we're such a cool team. I'd be pleased to interview him.

Rat Scabies springs to mind.

Would have been President for last few years when we were laughing stock.
P.S. does your name refer to Authur Longbottom / Langley.

I sense a QPR punk/indie band coming on:

Drums - Rat Scabies
Vocals - Pete Doherty
Bass - Glen Matlock

Just need a keyboard player and lead guitar.

It does reference the legendary Arthur Longbottom whom I saw play for us although I can't remember it. I'd like to think he's still alive but I doubt it.

Drop Doherty and put Bill Bailey on Lead Guitar(s) & Vocals.
