It would help if our defenders could stop letting attackers get in the gap between two defenders and stop giving the ref a decision to make because they always give a bloody penalty against us.

It would also help if Scowen learnt not to over-commit, it cost us the first goal, the pen (although it was a clear dive) and risked a red card for the one he clattered in to.

I have to learn to shut up because every time I shout “DONT’T FXXKIN DIVE IN!!”
We give another penalty. Sick of the nativity of us giving the ref a decision to make.

I try to be realistic and not over excited or over dismayed but I think we have had our moment in the sun for the time being as we have a difficult few weeks ahead of us.

We are the odd one in the top 10. No one has won any more games than us but everyone above us obviously knows how to grind out a draw whilst we have won 7 but lost 5.

Just on the train back. Not that much difference between the sides apart from £31 million spent. Have to accept that we are a few years behind them in development but what was good about us that even when chasing the game we continued to play good football and didn’t panic and on another day if the hall ran for us we would have got that equaliser and not got hit on the break for the third. Overall the game was even and certainly 3-1 flattered them. We are still well above where we expected to be so far. And this team will get better. Just get rid of the silly mistakes that we keep getting punished for.
