Oi Dodge on 09:40 - Feb 14 with 723 views | terryb | I can't speak for Dodge, but away to ipswich is always THE most important game of the season for me. As I expect away to Stoke is for Dodge. To say that I don't like losing that game is an understatement! My nerves start when I wake in the morning & last until we're behind or the final whistle! I expect it's a sign of my old age, but the "ribbing" I get if we lose has definitely reduced over the years, whilst I've always tried ti be magnaminous in victory! That was easy last season as they were so bad & pre match at Issacs was superb. As I think you & clive can confirm. The joy I felt in October 1983 when I first saw us win at Portman Road was undescribable. Win? We thrashed them! Stainrod & Gregory scored in a 2-0 win that bordered on 10-0! Strangely enough, the home game is important but has nothing like the feelings I have when Rangers visit Suffolk. However, I hope we make life a little easier for Dodge in the forthcoming week. August must have been wonderful!
Oi Dodge on 13:38 - Feb 14 with 652 views | dodge_stoke_r | I hate Stoke with the sort of passion other Rangers hate Chelsea. In fact, scratch that. I hate them 100 times more than any Rangers hate Chelsea! I am from the Port Vale end of the city and have to admit that I do have a bit of a soft spot door them. Unfortunately I am working tomorrow so won't be making the journey down. But please, please lets beat the gutter shite.

Don't dislike Ipswich but never had any fondness for 'em. Myself and my little posse of 14/15 yr olds came 'unstuck' up there in '74. Off an early morning train with our cocky indestructible Londoners on tour attitude, shiny Doctor Martens and ran right into a crowd of old blokes (must have been at least 18/19yrs old), from Manningtree who rather taught us a lesson including doing a couple of the lads that forgot the golden rule about always sticking together. Anyway, we lost the match, 1-0 I think, but some great war stories back at LR for the next game
