Good news. Hopefully customers will return. So far pubs on average are seeing c50% of previous trade levels and as low as 20% in central London which is still like a ghost town.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that it’s not sustainable. If things don’t improve then expect to see a lot of pubs close later this year once rent becomes payable end of September and JRS scheme ends in October.

I had a all day session in London last Saturday and it seemed very busy to me.

Yeh went and met a mate at London Bridge last Friday afternoon and the river pubs and Borough market were very busy, but cross over and walk through the city and Liv street and compared to a normal 25 degree Friday it was absolute ghost town.

Will be planning a reunion session in the Crown ASAP.

Even the two Spoons pubs in Hammersmith, usually pretty well packed, are about half full. For many pubs this would be decemt trade but Spoons pubs are pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap, so not a good situation.

Maybe busy at the weekend in popular spots but during the week it’s completely dead and businesses (pubs, restaurants etc) are suffering big time.

Not many office workers returning and very limited, if any, tourism. It’s going to be that way for a while yet I suspect.
