The bit I don't quite understand, is that reads like people who are already paying their season tickets for this year need to renew again. Your post doesn't sound like that, and I'm not sure if that's what they actually mean, but I don't think its particularly well explained.

I read it the same way , defo not clear in the way its put across for a change , i pay monthly so see what happens , also dosnt make it clear to me that if you do renew that you will be intered into future ballots which would be a tad annoying that i might miss out to somebody who gets there first season ticket this season |  |

N, what we did was...
When we had the chance to cancel season tickets a few weeks ago I cancelled one of our two and kept one for the online coverage and to maintain our bubble.
Today I called them and reinstated the cancelled one (at a pro-rata cost). So my bubble is back in place and the two of us can enter the ballot. If we wish and stay in Tier 2. | | | |

Yeah, I did that, but I couldn't find anything under "manage my tickets". Tried calling multiple numbers with no joy. Just emailed. I'm pretty sure I renewed our tickets, but it's such a stupid confusion, caused by a really badly worded email. | | | |

somebody was saying on FB earlier they will be emailing out on friday with how its going to work ,
buggered if you are tier 3 but the gov might change that anyway to lower the tiers in some areas which means fan who couldnt go can now go lol.
also just noticed that havent been allowed to do the usual cup tkt option on my season ticket so presuming we can still go in jan thats more bollax to deal with for the club | |

They reference the 3rd October communication and below, I think!, is the relevant point they are referring to. This was under the heading, 'Social Bubbles'
So I believe the renewal option is for those in a social bubble where only 1 person renewed, but now the others have the opportunity to do so.
"Season Ticket holders who submitted their social bubble applications will only be required to retain one Season Ticket from their application to maintain their social bubble.
When supporters are able to return, Season Ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their Season Ticket at a pro-rata price in order to attend fixtures." [Post edited 1 Dec 2020 14:49]

I understand it, but I don't like it.
Given Leicester's record, and our Mayor publicly saying he doesn't think our restrictions will be relaxed until at least next March and that we'll mark a full year in lockdown, I think that this season is kaput for me.

I agree, trying to keep the fans, Sky, the government happy - impossible.
Interestingly, on the cost argument, the Northern Counties League have opted not to play in December as many clubs in tier 3, so no fans makes it economically not viable.
They have gone with the 'gamble' of shoe horning the season in from Jan and if that fails accept that league placings will have to be decided on a points per game basis. | | | |

So just to confirm, as I’m feeling a bit dense. I am a season ticket holder who lives in a Tier 2 region and my options are:
A) Do nothing and continue to get Stream Access but not stadium access
B) Apply for the ballot and continue to get Stream Access and likely stadium access subject to covid related restrictions
Am I right and do neither of these option require any more dosh from me? [Post edited 1 Dec 2020 16:08]

Upper SARS and Scholl End to begin with I suspect. Can't use paddocks because that's where home team, subs etc are, and can't use Loft while they're using blue and white bar for away changing. Spread into ER when we go up to 4,000 perhaps? | | | |
