What I cannot understand is that in the PL there is a minimum percentage per capacity of each stadium that must be allocated to away supporters which is 10% with clubs allowed to put an upper limit of 3,000. Yet it seems here that no such rules apply in the EFL. If the Berkshire First XI wanted to stick their more vociferous glue sniffers behind the goal then do what Boro and Derby both did and stick the away support to the side. |  |

football is a business, it is all about cash/money not sentiment, so with readings' ground going to be half empty, why not for the cash allow more away fans in? we have been given 4000 there once, clubs have to weigh up "home advantage" v cash, i am not saying give extra stands to away fans but if the away end can hold more, safely and be reasonably segregated, then why not? so if at loftus road, away fans top and bottom but not in any part of ellerslie or paddocks. | | | |
