I'd like to add my voice in support of you, Digs.
There are one or two posters on this forum who I struggle to understand where they're coming from, but if they're pinning their colours to the blue and white hooped flag, then they're still a welcome part of the "family" as far as I'm concerned.

Have to agree with Loftboy, you are better than this.
Have you thought about adding an avatar to your posts. You have been clear enough about your disabilities but without a visual reference, some people may not have the memory to connect an explanation weeks or months ago with. You could even choose a picture that makes a light hearted reference to you.
Failing that, just block the knobs |
Echo what everyone else has said and particularly your idea of using the ignore button.
I know some don't agree, but I use it a lot - its pointless getting wound up/having the same pointless debates with the same people who are never going to change their views or who resort to personal abuse.
Believe me Digswell you will find it a much less stressful place if you try that method.
