Only 3 starters from the first game of season to now, albeit with Field out suspended.
I'm sure there's probably been big changes in previous seasons but I can't remember a transformation like that anytime recently, not only in personnel but in style.

As has been mentioned before, it really was a baby/bath water/whole bath launch when GA was appointed. The fact that we're still in with a shout of staying up is remarkable.

As Chris said , the Watford lineup ( defence especially) was partly foisted on GA. He obviously wouldn’t have wanted to start with Gubbins and a half fit Fox at CB but there literally was nobody else . Even now our 2 best CBs are injury prone and it will be a miracle if they are ever present to the end of the season. | | | |

Up until 73 minutes in last week, we hadn't even conceded a single goal with our first choice defence (Cannon, Cook, JCS, Paal) playing as a four (including games against Ipswich and Hull so not exactly easy games), but the first time they were all on the pitch together was most of the way through the Stoke game.
Ainsworth very clearly wasn't up to the task but he did get pretty unlucky with injuries and suspensions (by his last game we didn't have any fit centre-backs and Ozzy was tasked with keeping Jamie Vardy quiet). | | | |
