Ilias end of match 05:45 - Feb 19 with 4059 viewsenfieldargh

At the end of the match Ilias looked pretty angry about something, came breifly over to the fans but looked extreemly angry about something and made a hasty exit to the tunnel. MS made a big thing for the entire squad and coaches to come over to the fans but Illias was already near the tunnel and had to be persuaded to come back which he did.

Wonder what made him so angry. Had there been any verbal exchanges earlier?

captains fantastic

Noticed that. Was almost down the tunnel before someone grabbed him and pointed towards us. Seemed very reluctant to come over. Strange

He'd heard about online castigation for laughing at the end of the Stoke game so decided to mix it up a bit.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

At the end of the game he collapsed to the floor and looked a mixture of pure relief and absolutely knackered

Maybe he'd just been told that JCS was leading the POTY vote.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

Didn't Frey shoot instead of passing in the dying minutes? Illy let him know what he thought of it if I remember.

Ruined his weekend?… no, I go with turtle-head theorem.

I'd be curious to hear from the man himself but I would like to guess that he is carrying more of the relegation burden than anyone else in this squad. For most of this season he has been the sole source of creativity (we rely on him most the time), which puts more pressure and focus on him to deliver. I saw some negativity towards him online after Stoke - the bloke tried everything. He's also been at the club the longest so is most invested. Hopefully the additions of Hodges and Andersen and Willock seemingly starting to pull his weight can take some of the burden and focus off Illy. I'm glad that cut back from Andersen was to Illy - that was the smartest thing about that play - picking someone who would slot it and not waste it.
