non qpr football tickets. 16:55 - Sep 10 with 3323 viewspastieR

Have a friend coming to study in the uk for a year obviously he's a token man u fan. So would like to take him to a london game.
Obviously these are like gold dust, any recommendations? anyone had experience of trying to use 3rd party sites for packages.

Not a chance you'll get any.

Perfect opportunity to bring him to Rangers instead and convert him.

Have you thought about a hospitality package from the home club.It might work out the same price as buying a single seat off of a ticket agency. He will have to dress up I should imagine and definitely keep his mouth shut, but I'd guess that loads of rich and floating man ure fans get in this way.you might be better at fool ham or palates if u get in quick.

Bring him down to LR and he can "study" real football.

if it really is hard to get tickets to London away games, you might look into taking him to the Theatre of Commercialism. I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually easier to get tickets for the home games. At least they've got 60,000 of them rather than 3,000.

A couple of my mates are ManU season ticket holders and they tell me you can often get tickets for the less popular games. They have two season tickets but often take their kids or friends. You may have to go into a lottery for them but it's worth checking out. If your friend wants to go it'll be a memorable day out, give them a big kick and it may be cheaper than London ticket agencies or packages (even with the train). On the other hand if they don't want to go that will put the tin hat on their phoniness and you won't even have to go to a London game with them, so extreme will be your contempt for their 'support'.

Thanks gents...
Looks like old Trafford is the best option.
Unless I take a mortgage for fulham tickets or persuade him the championship is the place to be

My dads a Utd fan and from experience with him you gotta be a member to buy any tickets, and then your best bet are Champions League qualifying (when applicable) or group stages. Seen lots of Champs League games at Old Trafford but only one Prem League game when on a corporate junky which would be prohibitively expensive for most folks.

You should of course be taking him to QPR, I have a colleague over from Houston soon who is a token Arsenal fan but I'm taking him to QPR!
