Just watched Bobby's goal again .That ball took a vicious bobble just at the right time. Get in !!! Didnt that happen to Shilton back in the day ? A cup game as well I think and they got knocked out through it.??
That's the kinda shit that usually happens to us, unbelievably nice for it to go our way for a change! And lap it up Bobby, taste good to score again eh?!
I noticed that as well. He can fck right off if he's starting that caper...
+1. The gall of the man. Bobby, after years of picking up big money in return for the square root of naff all, I don't think a tap in from a gift proves anything. Score some goals between now and the end of the season to get us into the Premier League, then you can cup your ear all you like.
Saw the highlights on FL show, amazing how nice Claridge (well for him) was about us and hos positive he was about our prospects. Things like that can be a turning point, and amazed it went our way, the sort of thing you expect to happen to us, not for us.
Bobby still had an awful lot to do. He had to chase after it, not pull up injured, and then make sure he didn't miss an open goal from just a few yards out. :)
Watch it again. Watch how Bobby gets on his toes and chases the back pass even before the bobble. And this in injury time. It is this aspect - the right attitude - that pleased me most. We'd be creaming our pants back in the day if it was Jamie Mackie.

Yup. Just the sort of thing that Austin does for the full 90+ minutes.
Once in 100 times something comes of.
Seem to remember Austin harassing one of the keepers into a mistake on a clearance earlier in the season which led to a goal.

Jamie Mackie did it week in, week out and was paid significantly less. Not once do I remember him cupping his ear to the crowd and he had his fair share of doubters.
I'm pleased for Bobby and hope this marks the beginning of a rich vein of form but his reaction is disappointing to say the least, especially considering it was aimed at 500+ diehards who braved the trip to 'Boro only days after a poor display at Sheffield Wednesday.
For me the disappointing thing is that the hapless Middlesbrough's goalie's dad - Mr.Konstantinopoulos - never had the courage, brass nerve or creativity to call his son Istanboulos.
A shame.

Love,Peace and Fook Chelski!
More like 20StoneOfHoop now.
Let's face it I'm not getting any thinner.
Pass the cake and pies please.
well the goalie saw top scorer zamora, bearing down on him, with pace and menace....panicked and missed his score for lord "game changer" zamora to tap home, no hip injury during the celebs and well done for being there could prove a vital moment for qpr this season
