Squad 05:10 - Dec 11 with 604 viewsGloucs_R

I think we have a squad whose best formation is 451 which can move into 4231 / 4141 when we attack.

Personally thinks it's time for lynch to lead the back line.

Two natural wingers in midfield with cousins and the polish lad in the centre. Luongo as number 10, does well for the Aussies there. Polter up top until Sylla learns English.

Which means no place for Washington. Also think onouha needs to be moved on along with perch, Henry and Sandro. Appreciate nobody may actually want them!

Have we started more than two consecutive games with the same starting line up?

Poll: Are we staying up?

None of the strikers are good enough to play up front alone and we have a plethora of wingers so 3-5-2 makes sense to me. I wasn't at the Norwich game but presumably it worked fairly well but we've abandoned it since.

Play wingers, get the ball in the box, don't defend like cnts.

Yeah, built the squad for it... But with no attacking emphasis. Wingers don't make natural wing backs imo.

Someone with more coaching knowledge than me may say otherwise but in a 352 as opposed to a 532 the onus is more on the central midfielders to cover defensively. I think Luongo, Borysiuk and Cousins could do that, as crap as L & C were yesterday.

If it is actual wing-backs we want I think Wzolek could do that job. Kakay definitely could. Still, I'd love to see them just try a proper 3-5-2. Nothing can be worse than the southern softie inverse wingers three midfielders doing nothing nonsense we tried yesterday.

I don't disagree particularly but we don't play one up top very well. Long balls, isolated striker and nobody close enough to pick up the second ball or knock downs.

That said I don't give anything a go that meant we played with more width. Pace out wide taking on defenders and getting crosses in the box would be interesting
