These days when football coverage is a multi million pound business you get 4 or 5 minutes of highlights followed by 15 minutes of so-called analysis by cliche spouting ex-pros.
The following season we trounced Rotherham at home, I think it was either 4-0 or 5-0.
That was my first ever game at Loftus Road. I was in Ellerslie Road which is where the kids went back then. Simon Stainrod came over before the match and signed my programme!

I can remember Emlyn Hughes giving it the big one around that time thinking he was the new Bill Shankly but Rotherham massively overachieved that season in finishing 7th.
Come next season normal order was restored. Rotherham struggled, the squeaky voiced one was sacked in March and Rotherham eventually got relegated whilst we won the league! Hughes never managed another club. [Post edited 28 Mar 2018 10:02]

According to Peter Hucker yesterday his injury was caused by Ronnie Moore studding his throat causing a squashed wind pipe, he collapsed due to lack of oxygen, from what I could see he hates him to this day. |  |
