We wont get 27 points between now and then end of the season so that's a strange comment (even though I agree with the sentiment), but I don't think we'll have to.

Ignore our form under Hughes, that's utterly irrelevant. Effectively the season started when Redknapp took over, and our form under him is pretty impressive. We're in the mix and picking up points, we need to keep doing that and simply pivk up more points than a few v average sides around us. Chill out people - one game at a time. |  | | |

if none of the teams around us win another game this season then we dont need 27 points, their results are massively important, every time one of them wins it sets our target a little higher. | |

We will probably need another 22 or 23 points to stay up; with 16 games left, it's less than 1.5 per game, so at the very least the target hasn't been getting higher over recent weeks.
I prefer to think of it as combinations of wins and draws - all these would see us stay up........ still only think it's possible rather than probable, but a win at WHU would help a lot.
