Ie with this in previous times, if you called correctly at start, you could either kick off first or choose which end you attacked first.
Clearly rangers attacking the loft end is a major advantage in the second half.
If it was in first half, then obviously the effect would be lessened.
Just wondering as can't remember very often in recent times when we have attacked loft end in first half..

Until last season if you won the toss you HAD to choose ends, now you can choose ends OR kick off.
Sooooo whoever kicks off 1st half in either scenario, the other team has chosen which way to kick.
WBA kicked off yesterday, so we chose ends.
Most teams want to attack the end of their supporters 2nd half, hence why we nearly always kick towards the loft 2nd half, if we win or lose the toss. |  | | |
