Very much sorted that keeper position now. Got rid of the 4 keepers we had last season and brought in 2 who *should* be better (plus a rated youngster in Salomon as the 3rd choice). Done, sorted, thank you very much lets all move on. All about 2 central midfielders now and if the budget is there at the end, a right back |

Fck off with your stadium in the sky and fireworks outside a hotel. Can't even beat 10 gasping Englishmen Monumental win. |

The greatest player this country has ever produced. Hung around at Tottenham when he could've easily agitated for a move. Finally asked for a move when it was all falling to pieces and was told he had to stay... so he did and carried on scoring loads whilst carrying the team. Finally got a move to a notoriously snobby domestic league and absolutely blew the doors off of it. Nobody else at international level comes close. 30 goals more than our next best goalscorer. Not slowing down. Goals in 2x semi finals, 2x QF. Captained the side aged 24 to their first semi final on foreign soil in nearly 30 years Not to say Haaland isn't incredible, but I'd have him over Haaland any day. He's incredible and I'm not sure how England replace him |

Agree. It's Raul Jiminez up front. Great story but he should be able to be shackled. Mental squad with a cast of thousands at centre back who are there because they are good blokes |

He picked James and Quansah as his right backs with O'Reilly and Spence as the left backs. What he should've probably done was use Quansah as a CB instead of Chalobah and then called up Lewis-Skelly as a left back (to allow Spence to cover RB) and also have cover for midfield |

I imagine the 'fix' for the next World Cup will be having something similar to the Champions League. 4 large groups of 12 teams. 3 teams from each of the 4 pots go into each league. Every team in the group plays 4 fixtures one versus a team from each pot. The top 4 teams from each group through to the Last 16. So for this world cup you could've had a group of USA Argentina England South Korea Austria Uruguay Scotland Algeria South Africa Jordan Ghana Cape Verde England would've had games v Argentina, South Korea, Algeria, Jordan Reason they'll do this..... fits more games in |

Some of the Southgate revisionism a bit silly. Last Euros we were poor, but before that we were fantastic in Qatar and did well in the Euros with the players we had. Last night was great though. Likely not sustainable, but fun all the same |

The 3rd kit is great. Looks cool. That purple thing looks even worse with the blue shorts. Not sure who we wear it against as it clashes with teams in blue and is v light to play against teams in white. Suppose Saints and Stoke away we can give it an outing |

But we will all be gone sooner than the new breed of fans. You can't please everyone and silly kit launches are something that most clubs push towards younger people to drive engagement etc. If the Beta Squad video gets some new eyeballs on the club and makes a kid want to come to the stadium for a game because they love Beta Squad.... then great. They've tried to be innovative to be active with the 'youth', I think in this case it's fine. The kits are a bit sht anyway IMO |

The kit's aren't great... but I can't blame Nourry for that! The release not to my taste, but good to do something a bit different. Both online now anyway and in full technicolor |

A smarter sponsor would've massively elevated those shirts. Instead we have a logo drawn by a child. Look, it's not a kit launch tailored for the demographic of this forum. But I would imagine younger fans think it's cool and we always harp on about appealing to kids. |

They aren't the greatest kits. The pink away is more of a light pink than fuscia! Home kit looks very hastily put together. |

Thought South Africa were atrocious. If your name is Sithole you simply cannot put in a performance like that. Wasn't massively impressed with Mexico either. Fella that scored the goal and number 26 looked alright, but a decent team will just walk through their midfield. Caught up with the other game this morning. Glad Korea won, played some nice football as opposed to the Czechs who just lobbed the ball in the box and had nothing else. Long wait until the next game which isn't exactly a cracker tonight! |

Watched the England friendly last night. Limited opposition but England looked decent. Players playing in their correct positions and knowing their roles. Likelihood is we crash out to Mexico in L16 or Brazil in QF's, but with a bit of luck we can get to the semis and from there we have the tools to do something |

That Millwall kit is lovely. Could do with the away being some combination of red, black and white. Quarters, solids, stripes, hoops... all are good. If they want to go crazy then release a wacky third shirt |

That team with Chair, Eze, Manning, Wells and Bright.... phwoar!!!! I do wonder if Covid had never happened could we have nicked the play offs? |

I like Brannagan a lot, but he's only ever played for Oxford. That type of player is who we should be after though. A nuts and bolts Championship midfielder (we do already have Field for that though...) |
 | Forum Reply | Fan sites meeting with Christian Nourry at 12:13 18 May 2026
Just listened to this. I don't think Nourry is the cartoon villain we make him out to be, but when he spoke about 'atmospheric challenges' as opposed to just saying 'weather' in relation to the pitch I didn't half roll my eyes! Well done Clive for not letting the point go. They've been caught raising prices for fans for a quick buck and should be called out on it. There does seem to be some understanding about what went wrong this season regarding injuries, lets see. Thought Matt Winton read out his pre prepared statement at the end beautifully |
