Depends how you look at it… good riddance to a swathe of out of contract players at QPR this summer, or typical bad timing for QPR having most of the squad out of contract this summer thus recruiting at higher prices! [Post edited 13 Apr 10:49]

“If in doubt, kick it out” - footballing knowledge he muttered 32 years ago sat in front of that yellow gate when Alan McDonald punted the ball into the South Africa road stand - has stuck with a very ‘doubt filled’ QPR ever since! |

If he’s not going to prison and we can therefore get a decent fee - yes, sell. If he is going to prison and therefore we can’t get a decent fee, we should offer him an extended contract on our terms on the basis he will have security when he returns and we protect our asset against running a contract down, then build him back up again and sell in a year or two. |

Field has missed three or four sitters, so he would probably agree that he’s underachieved. |

I get that this year has been grim, but let’s be honest - everyone’s pre-season prediction was bottom three and best hope was 4th bottom… the fact that we’re a number of places above relegation with a great manager in position and top half based on form since January is better than anyone could have hoped? Shirley? …I hope this post ages well. |

The composition is called “The Final Score” and is available on YouTube, but annoyingly they’ve removed the video of the QPR v Leeds (1976) and QPR v Spurs (1992) mash-up. |

Can’t find that Nyman video anywhere now. I was looking for it after stan passed away as it was actually in memory of that team in 75/76… the club might do well to buy the rights to distribute it this year. |

Absolutely agree… if you had offered me six points from a possible nine on Good Friday morning, I’d be pleased with that. |

I think the absolute pinnacle of his lame performance was turning his back on Musaba as he stood and wound up R block after scoring their second. It could have got really nasty - literally turned his back so he didn’t have to see anything while they goaded the supporters. Absolute yellow bellied gimp. |

There was one moment early in the second half when they were time wasting on a throw in by ellerslie. He didn’t ask the time wasting player to hurry up - he asked bannon to ask their player to hurry up! Says it all really. |

Plus a sell out today and Leeds at home should push that average up a further 250. |

It’s easy enough for them to mute certain pitchside microphones to avoid chants being picked up; but if QPR fans leaned across and shouted various sky-related obscenities throughout the entire match into every microphone, that’d cause them some trouble. |

“There a no players who would not think Marti does not like them.” I agree with your post generally, but think Kakay and Dixon-Bonner might disagree with this statement. |

Come on chaps… since January (when Marti was able to do some vague surgery on the team), we’re 7th in the form table. Pretty good to be fair. Enjoy it! |

I would consider resting Cook by moving Dunne into CB and Cannon as RWB v Swansea… not ideal but I think we need to keep Cook fit and firing as we head into Sheff Wed and Plymouth. Midfield can rotate with not too much damage to rest Colback and Hayden if needed. If we’re safe in a couple of weeks, I’d like to give Walsh a run in goal… can’t hurt surely? |

I’d be more interested in his points per game since January transfers when he had chance to tinker albeit very slightly with the squad… last ten matches has is 7th in the form table. [Post edited 30 Mar 11:31]
