Thread | Ride London for QPR in the Community Trust

Hi all,
I’m a very long time reader (but having just checked, I’ve not physically posted since 2013!) and Rangers fan of 29 years.
I’ve signed up for Ride London (103 miles in one go) in two weeks times on behalf of QPR in the Community Trust (the club have sent me an extremely nice and tight lycra Rangers top to ride in).
I’m sure you probably all know but our charity trust basically provide outreach work primarily for those who are disadvantaged in some way (Tiger Cubs, working with disenfranchised youngsters to encourage them into higher education, families living in poverty, to give a few examples).

I went yesterday and thought Bolton were very poor and that we didn't have to get out of second gear to pick up the points. So did I really just hear Dougie Freedman say,'we were outstanding in the first half'? Wednesday were a better team than Bolton, by quite some way!
On that showing, Bolton are in for quite a long season.... |

I don't think any of us would argue that we had virtually no team spirit last season, but as Adel says, that was last season. He would have precisely no idea about our team spirit this season (which we are now only hearing good things about) as he trained twice with us and was sent home from 'a team' building tour for discipline reasons.
Ironic really.

He did those things in the Championship virtually every game, but nowhere near as regularly in the Premiership.
It will be very interesting to see how he gets on at Fulham. |

If you read my comment, what I actually said was that one problem with a delivery does not constitute the club being a shambles throughout, and I was making no reference what so ever to the original post. I would be disappointed if I had not recieved something I had ordered, but it does not constitute a shambles throughout.
Coventry City is a shambles throughout, Glasgow Rangers could be considered a shambles throuout. QPR a shambles throughout be be be because a few people's mail orders are not quite right..... Is that what you honesty believe HunterHoop?
If you were asked to give a yes or no answer to club being a shambles throughout, what would your answer be? |

5 season tickets not being sent out does not do constitute a complete shambles from top to bottom when there are close to 10,000 of them being sent out, extremely annoying-yes, and perhaps a mistake, but not a complete shambles.
Mine season ticket turned up on time, as has every other ticket I have ever ordered and I don't ever recall having a problem with the mail order, therefore I would be more inclined to say the club is well run in these areas.
The thing is, none of us have been behind the scenes to see the various procedures in operation and we only have other people's complaints to go by. People are far more likely to post a message or complain when things go wrong, but not so many will post to say they have recieved something in the post from the club in reasonable time. For every complaint we read about, I'm sure there are 99 others who are happy customers. |

And I very much doubt any manager is in charge of balancing the books any more. If a manager goes to the board and asks for a player and they say yes, then that is down to the board to arrange and deal with the wages etc. Harry always manages to attract some quality players and build good teams, which is his job. Long may it continue at QPR. |

An average of two points per game will see us win the league. I'm disappointed that we didn't win, but it's far better coming away with a point saying we should have won that than it is to be saying we were lucky to get one! |

I like the article too but Dunne has been here two minutes and is hardly likely to say even if there was still splits in the dressing room. |
