This is a very good point RangersW12 and also looking at it with a wider lens typical of how modern social media likes and wants polarisation. It keeps people talking and using its platforms but in the end it can lead to extremes… I firmly believe modern politics has been influenced by it massively. The middle has gone. I’m not a fan of CN at all, but I certainly don’t want him to fail, as all I want is to see QPR do well. So with the tagged post in mind, I’m going to try avoid adding fuel to the Pro CN/Anti CN Camp over the summer. U Rs!! [Post edited 17 May 18:09]

Great couple of posts, Mart, and I thought he was pass-agg with Clive. My take on CN is its hubris, and actually a lack of experience, but he’d never want to admit that so it’s masked with defensiveness. In truth. I reckon he’d be really good at his role at CEO if he had another 10 years under his belt, and might have acquired a bit of humility that sometimes comes with getting older. CN simply wouldn’t picture himself at QPR in ten years as we are a mere stepping stone to him. [Post edited 16 May 10:51]

Good to hear some unscreened questions at Nourry. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he just doesn’t float my boat. Hope he shuts me up and proves me wrong. |

I love that place. I took Mrs Jevlar there after shopping at Westfield and said let's bin those places off for Mr Falafel. She had her doubts but then she ate in silence, couldn't believe how good it was. |

Listened to this on the drive to the office. Very balanced and enjoyable. Have enjoyed the increased Patreon output (if that is indeed correct) Hope there’s more to come next year, Clive. [Post edited 11 May 8:59]

Apols, PunteR downvoted because of my fat thumbs, think this is a good point! |

Fair points, Nix and taken on board, also appreciate the reasoned post. FWIW, I wasn't looking for anyone to join me or back me if I decide not to renew, just using this forum as a form of QPR therapy I guess! Last thing I'm looking to do is bore people or cause any sort of division, we need all the QPR fans we can get and also not how I like to do things in life. Lover not a fighter. I totally see where you're coming from, and at the heart of my feeling is I guess I'm ultimately p*ssed off with where the club is. Not expecting the earth, just a little bit better than what we are currently getting! |

Couldn’t have put it better, WS. That’s the club’s core issue in a nutshell. |

Cheers 7374. Glad I’m not the only one, doesn’t mean I don’t support them any less if next season is my last season as a ST holder but doubt the club will care. There’s a waiting list apparently 😆 [Post edited 4 May 23:03]

Will we ever let a Kolli off the leash? Sorry, the pun was too hard to resist |

When you put it like this, it just highlights how blaady stupid the approach the club currently has to this is. It’s not like the list of players is going to reveal the location of Atlantis or who really shot JFK |

And to contrast, Gillingham have announced their retained/released list yesterday. That’s their competitive advantage in league 2 ruined!! |

Thanks Mart, appreciate that. Unless numpty sits near the back of F Block it’s unlikely they know me. Sadly, I’ve got a bit apathetic with it, and the only power I do have is not spending my money at the club. And spending that time and money with my family and young son. Obviously, that’s not what I want, ideally I’d get my boy a season ticket too, but like another post I’ve seen by you (which I totally agree with) we just had years and years of nothing really. Take the Warnock season and Zamora moment away, the last 30 years have been, meh, haven’t they? I imagine I’ll get pelters for saying that and not expanding on my view but there’s a tipping point for everyone surely. I went to my first game in 1986 and have had a season ticket for 20 years, it’s just I’m struggling to see under Nourry (as it’s just a project for him) how’ll we’ll really progress unless we happen upon the next Warnock and fluke it up but there’s a lot of evidence we’d balls that up! Im just getting to the point where I’ve had enough. I didn’t want to renew this year but sit with my dad and he still wanted to go but even he (his first game was the 67 league cup final!) is getting sick of it and said he won’t renew next year either - if it’s more of the same. This is exactly where I am. I don’t feel like I’m being taken along, I just feel like a very tiny cash machine for the club. And if we have another season next year that ends with 15th I’m not going to renew. |
