Kemper Dunne Lamptey Madsen Saito Chair Poku Kone Obikwu The injuries that have affected us so far this season, only 7 games in. It would probably beat our current XI with ease. It's getting beyond a joke |

I cannot believe he was just a random, unexpected transfer that very little of us knew about. I also cannot believe he went so under the radar for other teams that we just scooped him up with ease. His pace itself is enough to seem him a Championship quality player, but now he seems to have added hold up play and finishing, and just always seems to be in the right position. And he just never stops running! If we are looking to start selling players for £15m/20m +, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the first. |

I honestly have come out of that game with more confidence and positivity than beating Portsmouth 6-1. Yes, we only got a point against a newly promoted team at home, but I do honestly think that was a very enjoyable watch, and the signs of a potential real good team there. I am struggling to think of the last time I watched us dominate a game like that, and for the first time in my life I didn't feel like my heart was going to fall out my chest whenever we played out from the back. With Kamara, Madsen and some new signings still to fit in, I'm encouraged. |

Yep. Gut wrenching. Add onto that a 4-1 loss to Preston and 0-0 to Stoke and it may be the worst run of home games in the history of QPR. |

Those 2-1 losses to Bolton and Rotherham, combined with the 4-3 loss to Birmingham and 3-2 loss to West Brom at home in that run, may be the closest I've come to quitting football altogether |

I never enjoy playing newly promoted teams at the start of the season, as you are going against them whilst they are still riding the momentum of positivity and confidence. Them breezing past Preston wouldn't have helped either. I think 2-1 like everyone else, but also wouldn't be surprised to see a draw. |

He is the difference between a top half and bottom half finish for me. Completely transforms how we play, and whilst he isn't the strongest keeper for actual goalkeeping traits, his distribution is top half Premier League level. Walsh is a lovely lad but the difference is clear to see. |

Great write up. However there is one error. Not every f*cker won at Oxford or Sheffield Wednesday - as QPR didn't win either one! |

Humiliations at home to a lower league team Humiliations away to a lower league team Humiliations at home to Championship teams Humiliations away to Championship teams Humiliations away to a Premier League team Letting our U16s get knocked out to give the first team a rest Knocked out via one of the worst refereeing decisions ever And now getting knocked out by missing all four penalties in a penalty shootout. We are certainly getting creative with our cup failures! [Post edited 8 Aug 17:25]

Before England played in the World Cup I had dreams of them winning it, and pictured the scenes of English streets celebrating. Did I expect them to win it? No. It's the same with the Championship and QPR. Do I expect us to win the league? No. Do I expect us to go up? No. But have I thought about it after every signing and pre-season game? Absolutely. No harm in getting excited before the start of any competitive matches. It's what football is all about. |

From X, it sounds like Madsen is back in full training and could even be back for the Millwall game (although I suspect JS won't risk him). Good news all round. |

The reaction feels a bit too negative for me currently. We've just beaten one League One team 7-0, are beating another 1-0 having limited to them to basically no shots and controlled play, all whilst having split the team in half to do so. Considering the majority of these players will be playing to avoid injury, it's certainly better than losing 5-0 to Oxford one week away from the seasons start date. |

Without sounding too much of a negative grump but I'm pretty sure Bromley have their reserve team out, with their first team playing tomorrow. So I wouldn't say it's a gap between Champ and L1, moreso Champ and L2/NL. Still very enjoyable though |

I look forward to seeing the creative ways clubs will get round this rule. |

I know we are 2-0 up and playing good football but I just can't believe how depressed this game has made me. Two injuries to key players inside 30 minutes. What an absolute joke. How can we have a four year injury crisis? |
 | Forum Reply | Match Fred - Wycombe at 15:02 21 Jul 2026
If we can go through the season with minimal injuries (I know - one can only dream) then our first team is something to get excited about, especially with the new additions. If we have another injury crippled season then I just don't think we have enough depth to push onwards. That would be my takeaway from this game, although I should know better than judge anything based on pre-season. |

England seem to suffer from QPRs post half-time curse, but after the first hydration break. Seem to make a mistake within seconds every time they restart |

In defence of QPR/Stephan I am pretty certain we were in the play-offs prior to one of last season's international breaks. |
 | Forum Reply | Summer transfer rumours 2026 at 14:54 9 Jul 2026
We went into summer knowing that the goalkeeping and full back positions were two areas of extreme importance. It's now 9th July and we have completely sorted out the goalkeeping situation (one being a huge upgrade in my opinion) and secured a solid left back - and this is without losing any of our important players so far. Overall I think we should be happy with how the summer has gone - three good signings in needed positions, kits already sorted, a fun pre-season ready to go. |
