In his press conference he twice mentioned we will need to play with the ball on the ground. That indicates to me that Stewart will not play and it'll be 3 centre halves and wing backs. Hope I'm wrong. |

JWP a slow, small, non combative midfielder is not going to help us. We need the complete opposite in terms of physique, speed and ability to tackle. |

It's clear that we are not as fit as our opponents. Even Doncaster came out strong in the second half while we did our usual pathetic effort. Unfortunately fitness is largely governed by the efforts put in during, what should be a rigorous pre-season. Not for the first time it appears our players were given a very easy ride. Bring back the days of Wee Gordon Strachan. |

It's clear that until we sign some players built like brick shit houses and able to run, tackle, break up play and make surging bursts forward we will continue to get bullied and underachieve. Those in charge need to wake up and put this right because it's been a major problem for far too long now. Spors did say he was aware of it and would sort it but he hasn't other than bringing in Quarshie who is a work in progress. This squad simply isn't big enough or physical enough to cope with today's style of football and will continue to get brushed aside. |

Tonda has talked about making St Marys a fortress so we need to win again today to make it 4 victories on the bounce. That is where momentum and self belief come from because the team will start to feel confident every time they step out at home. Conversely doubts creep into the opposition who arrive fearing the worst. |

Downs doesn't have the upper body strength and balance required. He needs to work hard on these two aspects to give himself a chance at this level. If he doesn't bulk up he'll always be too weak to compete. |

I think we could do a lot worse than Solskjaer. Has good experience, played the game at a high level and would have the respect of our bunch of prima donna players. He generally has a good win ratio although he struggled at Cardiff but they were clearly not good enough in the Premier league. My only concern is that he might be another who opts to play three centre backs. |

He was interviewed by Adam Blackmore recently and said this is the first proper preseason he's had for a couple of years. He looks fit, full of running and could play a huge part in our season. |
