Does he actually exist? |

Never got any of the britpop nonsense, anaemic, jangly, suburban bollocks. Whereas Amy Winehouse was a real talent from that era. Always been more britfunk myself, or the British jazz scene now with Ezra Collective etc. |

It is rumoured Chelsea are lining up the charming, gracious, and entirely loveable Mr Terry as their next manager. I so hope this is true. I'm almost wetting myself with excitement. Watching that man drag that wretched club deep into the effluent where they belong would bring me enormous pleasure. It will end in tears just as at did when he missed a penalty, and fat balding blokes from Surrey will never get over it. [Post edited 23 Apr 20:41]

The status quo is getting better for us every year. Our USP is increasingly unique in a world of bland stadia in faceless environs in god forsaken settings. Our cave is increasingly the equivalent of a cute cottage compared to identikit flats. Boutique even. [Post edited 17 Apr 20:17]

Cantilevered out over South Africa Road. Cantilevered back over Loftus Road. Steeper rake over Ellerslie. Remove offices to another site and use that space for hospitality. Won't be dramatically bigger but we don't need dramatically bigger. |

The best transport links in the whole country? Sorry, better than Loftus Road with four tube stations within a strolling distance, plus all the busses, plus overground. Nonsense. [Post edited 17 Apr 19:18]

I have watched Rangers for half a century and would watch them by a rope on Paddington Rec. But I am not at all sure I would go to little Chernobyl by the tracks. At best it will be a bland concoction of tower blocks, at worst it will be what it is now, a God forsaken wasteland. My parents swapped a tumbledown house in Notting Hill for a council house in Burnt Oak and regretted it every day. You can fix outside toilets, you can't buy history, character, authenticity. |

The West Ham experience, akin to a day out in Chernobyl, should surely have warned us all that this is full of jeopardy. The true death of QPR would come with 10,000 rattling around a soulless bowl in a wasteland somewhere near Willesden, or is it Park Royal? What we have now is increasingly what people want, an authentic, urban experience, brilliantly served by all amenities. We could re-do the ground one side at a time, maintain roughly the same capacity while adding comfort and functionality. Cost a lot, but our owner has a lot. Every other option could cost us our existence. |

Are you calling it Loftus just to wind me up? |

Exactly. A win at both of those not only gives us more points but denies those above us. Alright it's a long shot. |
