They'll be knackered after two long away trips and chasing shadows all night and playoffs basically gone. Given that, I think we'd rather play a tired first team than fresh reserves. Either way, we really should be beating either. |

That's preston out of the playoffs. You'd think that would mean they'll rest a load of players on Saturday, so we'll be playing against most of their reserves. Really should be winning Saturday and finishing this thing. |

Yeah spot on. Has made some huge saves for us, brought his experience which has been key at times but equally made some big errors. Last night was very disappointing as it would have guaranteed safety and we never looked like conceding yesterday. We only need three more points and we're capable of beating anyone in this league home or away so odds in our favour even if it could and should of been done by now. 6 weeks we'd of given anything to be in this position. |

If it is 20-25% of any fee then that is fantastic, not how it was originally reported.
Has he established himself now? He's had one good season and injured the other.
Some players that were sold above what we sold Eze for that had never played in the premiership:

Maddison
Ollie Watkins
Adam Webster
Jarrod Bowen
Keane Lewis Potter (same reported fee)

Again forgetting lads, its 20% of the PROFIT we make on Eze. I.e. (£70m - £20m) * 20% = £10m
It shows that we criminally undersold Eze if he's had a decent season and a big injury and is now worth 3.5x what we sold him for. |

I would hope not selling Dickie for 5-10m and Dozzell and Amos for 2-3m each if we're lucky would be the difference between passing and failing FFP
I can't see who else we'd be able to sell that we're currently not giving game time to. |

From what I can see, we have two options. Go for promotion with arguably the best squad we've had post relegation and best manager in an open league, even if it means we don't develop players in some positions. Promotion would solve any financial issues we have but of course is not guaranteed. If we miss out on promotion, we have to proper tighten the belts next year, sell more players than we usually would and probably be in a relegation fight. The other option is to play players to develop them, even if it is to the detriment of the squad, slip down the league, miss out on promotion, have to sell one or two and be in a constant cycle of never quite being good enough to go up and lingering in the championship, all be it with having to cut cloth less next year as we didn't gamble. I'd rather go for it and take our chances if it doesn't work out. |

Not a bad shout and less busy. I guess the key from Euston will be to get there early and get on any train heading that direction. Even if we're standing, it will be full of rangers and a few cans so not the end of the world. |

Looks like the London northwestern and West midlands are running the same service, once per hour. Let's be honest, if there are Avanti trains running at that time then we'll just get on one of those if need be.
Maintenance works at Euston could be more an issue, there's always bleedin something! |

Avanti being Avanti aren't selling train tickets yet but for £27 you can get the super off peak West Midlands Train from Euston. Looks like there's then one local train an hour up to the ground so time for a few beers in town. |
