Hmm. We started the game with strength and pace but have gradually slowed it down which eventually allowed Brackley to equalise. In fact, our very slow play is allowing them to look increasingly comfortable and somewhat dangerous.
We need to inject more pace from midfield. Dare I say we are missing Gilmour.. Gordon not having a good game so far.

We looked much better with Smith and Petit on. Mani is such a class finisher and is definitely back into his groove. We need to be better defending set pieces. I thought we had pretty much sorted that issue. Hopefully Gilmour is okay as we missed his drive. Francis and East ars too similar. | | | |

Good win. Brackley were no mugs. Subs made a real impact, Pettit took his chance and would expect him to start on Saturday. Dieseruvwe is well above this level at times.

Not a great performance but a great night.
Francis looks like another crab but maybe that’s just how the players are coached. I do agree that him and East seem similar though. I like Petit and would enjoy seeing him start a game.

What a night of results for us! Not the best performance tonight and the way that we are conceding goals all of a sudden is a bit of a worry but it was job done in the end.

A good win, but it was not good for the heart and I had nightmares towards the end of another Halifax. But as somebody else mentioned we seem to sit back in the first half and this allowed Brackley to put pressure on us and score. In the second, when we attacked with more pace we opened them up more. I will be interested in seeing Brackleys second goal, the Dale players reaction seem to suggest a foul was committed.
I thought Francis did well in the first half and one person who deserves credit tonight is Barlow, who seemed to have his best game for some time. | | | |
