I must admit our fan base is fantastic even finding positives losing to a team that were in the fift””senenth tier last year. It’s a joke, we should be looking back at beating Southampton home and away, being a fixture at n the FA cup 3rd round, Yes we were “Punching above our weight” and overachieving but that was down to good management, now we’re not punching at all and that’s down to bad management. |

Today was a free hit, a guaranteed win for team who were two divisions above the opposition last year. Some of their players wouldn’t have caught a decent Sunday league side years ago. I listened to BJ at the fans forum on Thursday and really thought he had instilled a different mentality but hey ho here we go, different manager same shit, an absolutely appalling performance. A single shot on target in100 minutes ffs what has happened to the game I used to love |

I must apologise to you Mr Bentley because you obviously were instrumental and know intimately why substitutions were made, having said that imo you lost us the game. I wish Mr Lloyd best wishes in his future part time career being substitute for Kenny Williams for Brooks Motors playing on pitch number 4 at Firgrove |

I’m really sorry to hear that footballers can’t play for 90 minutes any more, I’m sure that you can remember the days before substitutions when all 11 players played for 90 minutes or the team played with 10 or even 9 men, it seems that we now have to patronise “men” who are incapable of playing 90 minutes for a salary they most men would work far longer then 90 minutes for.
To quote “Ripping Yarns” Its not the shorts that matter, it’s what’s in the shorts that counts. At least Lloyd showed commitment unlike some of our full time players, we surely want the same thing, for the Dale to stay up. For that to happen means we need to all pull together UP THE DALE.
I appreciate your opinion and no offence but today we were not good enough in the first half and we were on top in the second half until substitutions changed the game definitely not in our favour. Bottom line is we lost and in my opinion the substitutions weakened the team, I’m probably wrong but hey ho I’ve just looked at the league table and it’s not good reading |

Maybe unknowable but what I know is he went off we lost, we brought on Rodney who was appalling and career threatening? he’s 31 with no club, what career exactly are we threatening? We are being good enough as an association football professional club to offer him a chance which none of the other 91 clubs have bothered to do for the last 6 months. Give us all a break please |

Are you seriously suggesting that we have signed a player, who don’t forget has no club, who is dictating when and how long he plays. Ffs he’s not Messi he’s a non league journeyman who should be pleased he’s been given a chance. We are a club potentially going out of the league and we can’t even keep a month long signing on the pitch! |

Here’s my innocent way of putting things, football is an easy game at each end of the pitch there are 3 sticks, 2 vertical and a horizontal one balanced by on top of the two vertical ones, we play with a ball and the object is to put this ball between your opponents two vertical sticks and below the horizontal stick. So what you need to do is play with the ball in your opponents half and try to place the ball as close as you can to your opponents vertical sticks. Placing the ball close to your own vertical sticks may result in an outcome you don’t like so don’t do it. Simple isn’t it? |

He needs to go, talks a great game but on the pitch we’re rubbish. At fans forum RS was asked about zonal marking at free kicks his answer was schoolboy to say the least but at least said “if it’s not working we’ll change it, 3 games, 3 goals conceded from set pieces FFS Robbie, it’s not working!!! 3 at the back, it’s not working!!! Just an extension of last seasons crap which RS was excused for because of the time he’d had, now it’s his team, his tactics, his fault. |

There are now only 4 teams below us in the league and our home record against them is nothing short of disgaceful, Scunthorpe 0-0, Barrow 0-0, Oldham 0-1, Stevenage 2-2. 3 blanks against the worst teams in the league, we can’t even score one goal at home against the 3 worst teams in the league, that must be a record that no other team has ever achieved. Is it any wonder that disillusionment has set in. No home goals against the three worst teams in the league, be proud RS record breaker |

Perhaps because todays game had absolutely no merit and about as forgettable as your last fart. I can’t even be bothered to go on about the failings in selection, tactics, substitutions etc. I’m not angry any more, I’m just bored. 😴 😴 |

My goodness, what was that, I’m in the Cem who are donating hundreds of pounds for the legal funds to keep the club alive. Fans have just arrived back from Sutton having watched a complete capitulation. Your team selection and tactics are beyond comprehension, tippy tappy at the back, lose possession and concede, it really is embarrassing. We need leaders on the pitch but more than that a leader off the pitch, sort it out please, you are in charge of a club loved by many who have a history of being not very good but you are lowering our average massively. What you are delivering is complete crap not worthy of Sunday League, as the often saying is” if you keep doing the same thing and expect to get a different result you are mad” sic . FFS get a grip |

Whilst agreeing with loads of the comments, our massive problem is:
OUR HOME RECORD FOR THE LAST 3 SEASONS
Is by far the worst in the football league.
We have supporters collecting with buckets outside the ground collecting money, supporters walking to Oldham, supporters organising quiz nights, supporters doing anything to save the club.
Then we have a team who seem incapable of putting a decent performance together, just clear the ball in defence, shoot when you have a chance, stop passing back from offensive free kicks, show us you care as much as we do please |

Prediction RS tonight “we played top of league and nearly got something but for (as per usual) individual mistakes (copyright K Hill). What he forgets is we also play bottom of the league teams and lose on a regular basis, by that I mean every time, these teams must be wishing they played us every week. I’ve watched games at Spotland when I’ve been shouting at the ref and the opposition players to get on with the game while they lie on the floor and feign injury/ cramp: headache/ my mums died just to slow the game down. I don’t agree with it but it works, stops momentum and wins games, tonight we were naive and lost the game because we have no game management skills and give the initiative away regularly. I’m completely disillusioned |
