I find it ironic that a week or so ago they were lauding our PL demise and talking about our two financial blips and now they are faced with the possibility of administration. No one really wants them to go bust but a spell in League one/two for a few* seasons wouldn't hurt.

I must agree, that would be good.

They would have to go into administration twice to emulate us.

I don't think we've ever gone into administration. As far as I know a CVA is different to going into administration

Don't think our CVA was for over £5 million either.
Or our club being in debt to over £100 million.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo and about 40 other countries have a smaller GDP than what our Eastern Cousins owe.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Is it? That claim has been made how many times now?

If it's true Tan has so far written off 13m, ( guess the accounts would show if that's true or not ) it puts a whole different complexion on things.

So the sources for all this doom and gloom as Steve F*cker and Anus.

That's convinced me then.

I recall Anus predicted Mackay would take the club to the cleaners when he sued for dismissal. We seemed to have recovered from that.

How do Cardiff fans actually view Anus ?
The ones I know fcking hate him and find him an embarrassment. Surely he has some allies ( other than the usual few with hooligan convictions )

But you owe over £170 million ? Even if you could make over £15 m profit per season, it would still take way over a decade to clear the debt. Without interest.

How do you think it will get paid off then ? I cant see a way out.
Portsmouth refer. Except pompey play in blue of course....

Your point pre-supposes all is going to be repaid. So far, none has yet the debt to Tan has reduced. He's so far seemingly written some money off - Hammam took money out of the club, so far it appears Tan has not.

What I suspect is the long term goal is to stabilise whilst cutting costs. I'd imagine he has an amount in his mind he'd be willing to write off; convert rest to equity once issues like the Langston debacle is over. As a shareholder he'd be below credittors in the pecking order of things, after all.

Make money / minimise losses by then selling the club if the club gets to a relatively debt-free status.

Regardless, I don't see Tan cutting and running short term.

Stabilise whilst cutting costs = deckchair rearrangement

Make money by selling the club? To whom?

With the Chinese stock market (Ponzi Scheme) in freefall, the Saudis and now the Iranians flooding the market with cheap oil to stuff the Americans and Russians, who is going to walk into a financial car crash and burn money? There aren't that many Indonesian loggers or Indian chicken/steel merchants around these days. Ask Randy Lerner at Villa. Been on the market for years.

I'd quite like them to go bust. Would increase our catchment area significantly.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Supremacy is better.

To be the only club within a 120 mile radius and a population base of nearly 2 million the potential would be massive.

Bluey - who are Langston (if not Sam) and why far as I can see from the outside is Sam seemingly desperate to avoid the real identity of Langston being made public? Is there some terrible, shameful secret?

The real Langston is Huw and Martin Morgan... Points deduction and a spell in league one whilst we hoover up all the young football fans in Wales... Spend the 5.7mil on an extension to the east stand to fit them all in
