I know I'd be very angry if I had been playing football since I was a child, had played in World Cups, European competitions and then somebody with far less experience than me tried to show me how to pass a football on the first day of training.
That clip of the training session combined with the press conference where he spent 45 minutes talking about how wonderful he is was when I first thought this was going to be horrible. |  |

Those clauses haven't been common for years. No one took them seriously and always tried to bend them, causing a fuss without "officially" declaring a transfer request etc.
Bonus payments are almost always either guaranteed or performance-related now. | | | |
