My only guess is loan signings 'out' from the club still count towards club home grown players, hence the victor moses loan out?
I may be wrong, but that's what I've always assumed. |

Monk has done great in my eyes, difficult introduction to a tense situation.
However, i dont think statistics can be used to compare him yet. Stats mean nothing without context. Completely diferent games due to injuries, away/home, time of season etc. compared to Laudrup.
Cant wait to see us next season with a Monk pre-season and summer transfer. |

I'm guessing here, but am I correct in thinking the Spanish B teams are completely seperate from the A team (different contracts) so B team players can't play for the A team in the same season? The B teams can also then go as far as the segunda devision?
Maybe it could work in that scenario with English leagues, more or a feeder team in effect. Possibly wage caps based on what league they are in.
I'm not really for it though as I can imagine the top teams will use this to their advantage as a double revenue system.

I didn't say he was my favourite choice, just wouldn't be surprised if it's a rumour, sky sports understands sort of thing (like the past few years)
And nope, there's no logical reason he would leave Everton for us I agree.
Was only opening up a debate for who a possible 2nd could be ;) |

First of, let me say this is completely hypothetical (no ITK) and just something i thought maybe could be a shout. And up for debate.
As we kmow, Huw loves stalking targets, and somtimes gets them (recentky emnes).
So if Monk does get the job (hypertically spesking) i cant see too many big names wanting to go in second fiddle.
So what about the other we've stalked, Graeme Jones. Could be a good fit as
Monks second with plenty of inside knowledge and worked together. Plus he has stated previously he does not want to be full manager. Granted youd would have to prize him from Everton/Martinez.
Sorry if already mentioned but just thought was food for thought. My personally choice would be Bielsa/Monk. [Post edited 29 Apr 2014 23:50]

Eh?! Am I the only one thinking Pablo was not that bad tonight? Was close to see some of the great link up between him and Rangel today in the first half. Glad to see him back in the squad.

Only just managed to watch the game due to getting in late. After the first half I didn't care if we won/drew/lost as I was just sat smiling at playing some faster tempo normal swansea stuff. Team looked good.
Where the hell did come from with Lamah :S surely worth a few league mins after Routledg's recent form? Can't wait to see the poz/bony partnership in the PL too!
Although I hate singling out.... Tiendalli.... Utter nappy, shadow of himself last season would be an understatement.
Credit to Kuban, really went for it, looked good at times. So much for them being 'sh1t'. |

What a dire showing from the Swans... I'm still confused at Leon's red?
Need a better showing on Sunday! Still only 1 point down in PL based on same fixtures last year so hopefully a result against West Brom to get us kicking off! |

The Bony bashing kinda fecks me off... He's a target man at the spear head who won't be overly involved in build up. He holds it up well when he has to and draws players in leaving more space! Could have had a hatrick if he had a bit more luck. Remember he's only played 3 and a half competitive games for us!?
Oh yeah, he scored 4 goals, and 1 wrongly disallowed goal in those 3 and a half games... Course he's sh*t! Jebus fecking wept! |

You can see it starting to click already! Just watched the game back on record, and Hernandez looked very good today on tv! Few misplaced but always trying to do something positive.
Watched chadli with spurs last 2 games as well and reckon chadli and Hernandez would have been a brutal wing pair! Gutted on that one, fair play to spurs for their signings! |

Great player, near perfect lone striker. Holds the ball up well, good in the air! Maybe goes down a bit easy? Seems absent a bit, although he's just doing his positional job at the top... Gets in the right position for goals!
Just hope he doesn't go through a long draught and people blame him for being "lazy" and "missing", which he isn't.
Think bony/michu/hernandez will be a beast of a partnership this season! |
