Donald Trump indicted over attempts to overturn 2020 election result ...
at 06:30 7 Aug 2023

Hello everyone, long time no chat.
If everyone gotta serve somebody, that was a song, right? Well, t-Rump gotta serve some time. That won't solve everything but will prevent lots of foreseeable problems from happening. Gotta serve somebody. Someone proper.

Ki Should Be Our First Midfielder On The Team Sheet
at 08:55 14 Nov 2017

Oldjack, you know what ya talking about, dude!

Did someone mention senile? I swear some of us on this board are indeed forgetful. Only 3 seasons back we ended on the 8th in BPL and Ki was the best field player. True, he had a more attackign role racking up a quite a few goals for himself and a rumor had it that Liverpool was intersted. I might throw this in: Guilty Siggurson sat on the bench most of that season.

In spite of my admiration for the perseverance by the team coming back from a low level Leauge, rising all the way to BPL and for the genuwinely loyal fans through thick and thin, I swear a few on this board are straight out of a 2nd class sh!thole.

The Unfair IMO Criticism Of Ki Sung Yueng
at 07:33 20 Jan 2016

I wasn't aware so many fans in Wales put so much emphasis on tackling, judging a player solely on that. So it seem if someone read this thread :) There are quite a few actually. Along with matching bitter sour grapes.

Ki I think went to Korea one too many times early this season and hasn't recovered, and hasn't been in the form that he showed us all thru last season. But I thought this last match was one of his better performances this season providing the assist to pick up the much needed 3 points. And maybe there is a sign he is recovering.

Back to those fans if you like tackling so much why don't you go watch rugby in the next stadium?

Congratulations on your first child, Daddy Ki! It is mighty kind of the team to let you be with family in Korea this time around. Don't be too long tho - we need you here and in top form

Ki's Dad.
at 06:23 11 May 2015

First Ki grew up admiring Gerrard - Gerrard was Ki's football hero but I don't think that means Ki wanted to play for Liverpool. Daddy, what are you saying? We haven't seen the best of Ki yet - he was more dynamic/fierce player with Celtic, with long distant shots as one of his arsenals and took free kicks, even penalties. Now he seems to play more safe more mundane but he definitely brings stability in the midfield and maybe that's what Monk wants but from a fan's point of view something is missing. We now see him dashing toward the opponent's goal this season - something we had not seen in the past - and even scores quiet a few. All in all this season is the Ki's best performance so I hope he sticks around.

Gomis
at 04:55 17 Mar 2015

Gomis gave 100 % no doubt and the first half was so entertaining watch but no goal and the cf gotta score man! How many matches now and it doesn't seem Gomis is one of the cf's who picks up easy goals. On the contrary all of his attempts seem difficult. It seems every time the ball goes to him he has to struggle even to keep it let alone make a shot. Maybe his style and the team don't gel.

De Guzman available
at 05:11 28 Jan 2015

many fans say he is one of the most underrated players but it's also the shop this poster is linking to when you consider De Guzman is sold for only £4.85 when mot other players go for a whopping £6.00, including those who left the team.

Where is Kiisgod? Someone mentioned her name. Did you guys finally chase her away for good or was this the work of the evil ex mod who banned her? :) I think even he is kool; lets all get along now.

Here is a Ki's wedding reception video a year ago, who practically got on the next plane to join Swansea at the summer camp:

You are pathetic ! How does calling de Guzman a "Canadian Hispanic" a racist?

Ok he is half Filipino and I neglected to mention his Asian background so that makes me a racist?

The bottom line is de Guzman was born and grew up in Canada, a great hockey nation. (now I am gonna rub it in a 'lil )

And when I made a remark about de Guzman playing (being able to play) just 1 game in World Cup, it had absolutely nothing to do with Ki or Ki playing in WC, go back and see what I typed.

Now that Hiddink will be in charge of Holland this summer and he emphasizes on teamwork rather than depending on an individual clown that is de Guzman, I doubt de Guzman will play a full match.

I am not making silly assumptions dingbat! de Guzman was born and raised in Canada between Filipino / Caribbean parents. And such a revelation should not betaken as an act of bitterness and you are acting as if it's a shameful thing to be known and did I notice there is a tendency on your part to cover it up?

if de Guzman is that good I am sure Laudrup will give him a call.

Don't put words in my mouth. I was implying if de Guzman were to play a full World Cup match for a great soccer nation such as Holland , that would be impressive and therefore I will shut the hell up. Even just 1 match!

BTW how does Canadian Hispanic (de Guzman is from Canada in case you did not know) plays for Holland?

de Guzman is one of the most overrated players on Swansea who was handpicked and favored by Loudrup. Look at Guzman's free kicks and corner kicks - all looping - the schoolyard style balls - beyond me why he is taking them. And he loses the ball more than the center-forward and does not possess one-touch football. He's ALWAYS gotta dribble a little at least. (there are 2 or so others on the team who is guilty of doing this) and what is his passing success rate? 27%?

If de Guzman plays 1 full game in World Cup this summer, when it all counts then I suppose I am wrong and I will never criticize him.

I keep hearing this on this message board. Not sure if someone spread a rumor but this is the only place I read that Ki has an attitude problem.

One thing I do not hear on this board, however, perhaps in an attempt to explain something might have happened between Ki and Laudrup which led to some misunderstanding is that Ki got married last summer and went on a honeymoon.

Something apparently happened when Ki came back from the honeymoon and joined the team in the summer session. Perhaps Ki joined the team late. Maybe his agent has not properly informed the club reg. the Ki's situation. It is possible Laudrup has not idea like many readers on this board.

Not if the Swans are relegated now that it's sitting just 4 points above the worrisome relegation zone. Who expected this after the stunning performance last season? I thought the Swans will fly high above that but their wings aint flopping the way they are meant to this season. Maybe they are drummin' a wrong bango :)

Shelvey post match interview
at 07:44 17 Sep 2013

Why is he constantly scratching his forehead - every 3 seconds. He is feeling so inadequate and his mumbling becomes more intense and incomprehensible as the interview progresses. I hope he can recover from his 7th grade mistakes which could match his mental age.
