TRANSFER NEWS LATEST, JAMES ETC
at 12:34 25 Jan 2019

He wasn't in the official training video released by the club on twitter yesterday, when all other available players were shown. Of course this could mean he has the sniffles, or a slight twinge. Hmmm

Wasn't sure how to copy and paste links, but there you have it, in black and white. Not from the Daily Mail or Walesonline.
I dont always agree with Res but on this occasion i happen to.
where would be the sense in spending all our surplus on more players to sit on the bench. we are simply not a big enough club to have millions of £'s worth of players not playing every week. For what its worth, (and its only an opinion), i think we'll go back in for a fullback in Jan, and use anything left to try and replace Tammy and/or Sanches next Summer.
As for the Yanks putting their own money in - you are aware of FFP, where you're not allowed to spend more than a percentage of your income over a 3 year period?
Tammy has 1 goal already so only another 14 for him and Bony to get before the end of the season then eh?

30M? Not sure where you get that from. The official stats say 19.1M in profit.
Good business as far as i'm concerned. 12-15M for a soon to be 33yr old in the last year of his contract.
The surplus can be used in January if necessary, (or next summer when we'll have to replace Tammy and Sanches).
Can you imagine the uproar on here if we had nothing to spend in Jan?
What people have got to realise is that a club like ours simply cant operate in the negative in every transfer window.

Paul Reid has been appointed in some capacity. Is that with the Academy?

Who's Responsible for Upkeep of Stadium?
at 09:47 25 Sep 2016

Anybody know who to contact regarding this? I've looked on club website and doesn't seem to be an option. Our seats in West Upper yesterday were absolutely covered in bird sh*t. If it was a speck or 2 then fair enough but these were covered and it was ground in, which as you can imagine wasnt nice to sit on. Also wasnt great for people a few rows in front when pigeons kept sh*tting down throughout the game.

Who's the fullback we signed from Man Utd? Is that Blair or not. The Man Utd fans seem to think we have a had a really good prospect off them.

Could also let us scout the best youngsters from lower leagues as there are talented players there to be found

Looks like our Academy side/ U21s will be in this next season. I cant see any negative in this as will line up our younger players against lower league teams - good for their development. Sorry if been posted before but cant see it anywhere.

I read that he was expected to re-shape his back room staff, and wondered what that meant also.

Exciting football in the championship or survival stuff in the premier league ?
at 13:43 22 Apr 2016

Exactly - i hope Wenger gets p*ssed off with all the abuse he gets and fcuks off - only then will the penny drop with some Arsenal fans. That saying, 'be careful what you wish for' never been more apt.
As far as swans concerned i still enjoy the games in the PL, but it doesnt seem to bother me so much as it did in the lower divisions. I guess its because nothing will ever beat that day at Wembley.

Merthyr Town v Hungerford

Do you mean Criag Gill? I remember him playing for Hungerford.
He was at the Swans not so long ago doing some sort of analysis on each player and feeding back the data.

Swans Trust Board Minutes - October 2015
at 13:49 14 Oct 2015

Some interesting minutes here.
One thing that stood out was the Business Plan involving a trip to New Jersey. What is meant by that? Is it a potential link up with an club/trust out there or to do with investment?

Which Swansea signing in history has made you eat the most Humble Pie? (n/t)
at 12:05 7 Oct 2015

Joe Allon - thought he was awful, (i remember the crowd sarcastically cheering when he finally won a header), and then he went on that 7 game scoring run, and scored famous overhead kick against them up the road

Garry monk on Colin Murray show (talksport)?
at 07:47 10 Sep 2015

He's ok but really annoys me when he gets interesting guests on, and then proceeds to talk over them whenever they reply to his questions, (which are often themselves long winded). I have talksport on throughout he day in the office but havent heard Garry on yet
