Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up it's Burrell time. Cool Rumarn!

My kids were watching Cool Runnings a few days ago then today happened...I've put that in some of the social media comments...I think I'm clever 😂

Burrell, total number of first team appearance through all the clubs he been with - 125. Number of goals - 50.

That's bloody good.

Especially as he didn't start scoring until '22 with Falkirk, so it's really 50 goals since then, which is 113 appearances.

Yikes. That is one hell of a record.

If Sinclair Armstrong was worth £2.5m, what's Burrell? £5m? £8m?

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

I cannot tell a lie, I quite like him.

I think he was a fan favorite from the first appearance. We appreciate someone willing to put in the hard yards here and he's earned every one of those goals. Love him. Very QPR.

Not just his finishing, and habit of being in the right place, his pace and energy is both incredible and relentless and from minute one to minute ninety !!

But hats off to Kone also, yesterday. Two very good assists.

Yeah. Our manager intimated in his post-game interview that Koné was, perhaps. the Man of the Match.

I think the manager may be right, Kone worked really hard for the team today.

Certainly between Burrell because of his two goals and Kone who was excellent today and didn't stop chasing and harrying.

Two very good performances from both, it does show they can play together.

Just had a look on the BBC website for top scorers in the Championship. Currently Burrell is tied fourth but what really is impressive is his shot conversion rate at 32% (2nd) and his shot accuracy at 64% (1st).

The striker we've been crying out for.
He's a absolute nuisance to the opponenets and has an uncanny ability to score goals.

Yes he missed a bit of a sitter yesterday but it was a sitter all of his own making. He put that behind him very quickly and was there to seal the win when it mattered.

What I like about this guy is he's put the hard yards in to his career, knuckled down and moved around seeking first team football. Cove Rangers, Falkirk, Burton Albion. Earned his opportunity with QPR in Championship and hit the ground running, very similar to Jamie Mackie. Fingers crossed, he could still make the World Cup next year, what a story that would.be.

Great signing been impressed with him, since the 1st game against Preston when he came on as a sub and pressed really well. Onwards and upwards for our strikers.

He's been excellent and should have had a hat trick yesterday but his all round game is the best thing about him, he'll have a spell where the goals dry up but he'll still be able to contribute.

Really good signing, credit where it's due to everyone invovled in that one

Kone needs to do his benefit to profit from all Burrell's hard work and start getting back amongst the goals himself.

We as a fanbase need to be realistic with him. I love him and have done from start but i reckon could be a confidence player.... so lets not turn on him ehen he misses a sitter or two

Otherwise a peefect qpr playr for me and him and kone wirk well together

A QPR centre forward who scores goals.

How did we get him? I don't think there was a single rumour linking him with us and then he was suddenly announced. Completely under the radar. Almost unheard of for that to happen.

Love to hear the story on this, one day. Meanwhile hope he keeps going, especially over the month of Afcon, when we have so many games and may be without Kone.

Not injury prone either, which is always a bonus.

Kone and Burrell are a dream strike force, one with pace the other with power.
Full credit to whoever signed the pair. Especially as we invested the money from Kelman, who seems to have disappeared off the planet.

Yep great points, never rated Kelman pleased we moved him along for a decent fee, a big upgrade with Burrell and he has taken the step up brilliantly.

Just shows you can't judge numbers because if you're comparing Kelman's 23 goals to Burrell's 11 goals last season you'd guess Kelman would have a better chance at adapting to this level. Burrell's pace, tenacity and seemingly endless stamina already made him a handful, the goals are the cherry on top and I think he's a perfect foil to Kone's power. If Burrell's goals dry up I have no doubt Kone will start firing again

Credit to the club for pulling this signing out of nowhere, as I understand he was on the verge of a move to Plymouth before we stepped in? Steal of the summer potentially

Luckily for us he appears to be strong body wise and hopefully he keeps fit and healthy over the winter.
It might be no harm to sit him for a few halves ( I know he is hot right now) but his minutes of full out effort is bound to take a toll .
He is no longer under the radar so his punishing late hits from experienced/sneaky /dirty big defenders will only get worse IMO

I know someone close to the recruitment at Plymouth, he was on the verge of signing for them yeah right up until we stole in. He told me on that Saturday afternoon before we announced him that we'd nipped in and signed him, more money, bigger wages etc. Was expecting it to be announced in a few days time. I was going to have some fun on here for a couple of days dropping the odd hint as it may well be the only time I'd ever be ITK about something. But then we just announced him that night and my fun was over before it started!

As an aside, according to a PLymouth forum, Neil Warnock was telling their fans at some summer functionthat he had him at Boro (he did) and that he was s**t. Just goes to show.

That's brilliant. It's a great story so far, going from Coventry to Scunthorpe to Grimsby academies, uneventful loans getting 0 goals in 8 games for Bradford and Kilmarnock before Boro then releasing him. Overcoming all of that takes some doing
