Great game this evening, chuffed for him to make a few really good/instinctive saves and kept us in it. Will do his confidence the world of good.

Shout to Cook as well who for me was runner up to Walsh as MOM.

As for us going forward, that was a tough watch. We only came alive from 85 mins.

Actually thought the ref was okay as well. Nothing special but that's usually a good thing. Vale booking early was fair, it was high.

Point is a point, 3 clean sheets away from home now.

I'm so pleased for Walsh, he's come on In leaps and bounds, long may It continue.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Walsh was brilliant shot stopper today. Good at claiming crosses and palming shots away. Decent at distribution. Confidence seemingly growing...

Well done Joe....

I thought his distribution really showed his confidence, very accurate and unhurried.

Only turned the game on at 70 minutes, sounds like that was an accidentally brilliant decision!

Missed the match entirely as I was at a Meatloaf tribute band. I’d say I made the better choice. Chuffed that Walsh is getting so many positive reviews. I really think he can be the real deal

Well done Joe, great to have all this positive talk about one of our keepers. Even better doing so after he has coming back from injury.

Well done to him, he made the saves when needed, looked confident and his distribution was good.

Best player on the night and the only reason we didn't lose. Since he's come back from injury he's improved leaps and bounds from the start of the season.

Seriously impressed with him, seems to have used his time in the treatment room to sort out his head - he's so much calmer on the pitch now, no jitters or dropped crosses/shots at all. Very, very well done

Shit but local

Agree with everything said here . He was really good last night .

However, if the rebound back to Dykes goes about 3 inches to the right and trickles in….he would have been lynched on here (again).
That was truly a strange piece of goalkeeping . He got away with it and good for him. But it’s a thin line between success and failure isn’t it ?

Much improved and it is good to see, the potential seen in him when he was signed by Warburton is now coming to fruition.

Man of the match for me... some of his saves were spiderman-esque

A very good performance from Joe & his distribution has definitely improved. Playing him for the rest of the season can only benefit the player & the club.

According to the Sky commentators, he comes from a Charlton supporting family & his brother was the Charlton mascot last night.

Amazing what confidence can do. I'd still like him to come off his line more to claim crosses, though maybe that will come with experience.

Pleased for him.

Definitely more confident but the crosses he had to come for yesterday weren’t challenging.
I’m waiting to see how he deals with better crosses in future but he does look a lot better these last few games in other parts of his game.

I never lie but I don't always tell the truth
