Always a busy time of year in the shellfish trade and usually work just about everyday except Xmas day itself with an early start and long hard day on Boxing Day. This year Storm Barbara has come and basically shut us down! No ferries guaranteed so we're going to work 27th & 28th, going to have a relaxing few days with poweruts the only slight concern.

I know you think 'karl' and 'distortR' are the same person Fred but there are posters on here who have met us both at the same time. WestBerksR and Ted were even kind enough to get us both tickets for the playoff final, although having gained a few pounds in later life i haven't taken to using two seats yet!
