I expect it would more likely be L1 & L2 clubs who are far more reliant on income through ticket sales.

Knowing our luck the EFL will call in our £17m FFP fine now in one go, distribute it to clubs needing a bail out, drive us out of business, knock the stadium down, sell the land to themselves and build a crisis centre for the fans of the clubs they bailed out who suffered distress.

Never knowingly right.

Too easy.

Do we have to pretend there's an agenda against us on every thread.

If better run businesses than football clubs are struggling, what’s the surprise here?

To be honest, I’d be surprised if ten clubs could be found that weren’t struggling and facing kaput.

Brentford are not as financially sound as some people think. If they had not sold their new ground to their developers( to buy back on completion ) they would have lost £20m in their last set of accounts.

They are a 20 minute walk from my house and as a few mates are fans have always taken a passing interest.

They are in a right mess have been for a long time. They have just been given the green light to build a new stadium at Fossetts Farm which has been in the offing for about 30 years under various Chairman. The current one Ron Martin is desperate for it to happen and it just so happens that his son is something to do with the firm who are to build it. I mean what are the chances of that?

They have been in and out of court with HMRC on a consistent basis over the last few years and are due up again soon I believe. They have been truly horrible this season having stayed up on the last day last year. Ex Rangers connections Kevin ‘Bondy’ Bond couldn’t get them to sing to his tune on the Piano (copyright Clive) and Gary Waddock was caretaker when he got sacked. Martin went all out for Henrik Larson as Manager with Dirk Kuyt I think as number 2 and Tommy Johnson (Ginger Ed Celtic striker) as Youth Coach. Johnson turned it down which strangely scuppered the whole deal and so Martin went back for Sol Campbell who he had turned down a couple of weeks before. There was a rumour that the Larson appointment was essentially a way of selling the club as both Larson and Kuyt along with Denis Bergkamp have been rumoured to be part of a consortium looking to buy an English club think they looked at Wycombe before they were sold last year.

In fairness to Campbell he’s had no chance of doing anything with them as promised funds, signings haven’t materialised and he had to sell a few players and play the kids. They do have a young striker called Charlie Kelman only 17 or so who has got about 8 goals in a frankly terrible side who I imagine will interest a few clubs come the summer ( we could do worse than have a look).

It’s a mental state of affairs really but it wouldn’t surprise me if they were up against it

In an incredibly competitive field that must be right up there for worst QPR performance ever.

Sure, but it took £100million of Bentham's money to reach that point.

That’s still a good £400m less than we managed to spunk!

Which includes a new stadium plus 35 million in player sales to add on for this financial year. We know where we would be without Benhams financial support as you can see our income from STs and gate money is 3.5 mill although we had the 3rd lowest wage bill in the championship. You can dislike the club but you can’t criticise our model over the last 6 years since closing our academy.

We're a out to buy/have bought a new training ground. Doubt we are one of the clubs to which they are referring (although it sounds like they are not really referring to any specific clubs at all and are just guessing)
