European Super League would have six Premier League teams — each paid up to £310m to join

Fifa and Uefa issue joint statement to warn that players taking part would be ‘blacklisted’ and banned from World Cups

All got a slightly different take on it.

There is no mileage in threatening the players they are mercenaries who will follow the money.

Football in this country would be better if the top 6 go and form a European Super League.

Leicester won it once but it's all become too much of a closed shop to be interesting anymore.

I'd consider it to be a European Yawn League that I'd never watch. It'd probably go down like a strom in the Asian market though.

Just a thought.

What do fans of the big six think?

Premier football needs some `levelling up` to coin a phrase, not more elitism. This season is quite interesting as there are a lot of clubs in with a shout of winning the Premier League and consequently more games of interest. Great to see Leicester, Southampton, Everton and even Man Utd jostling with the Big Boys.

A European Super League is of little interest to me.

A European Super League if it happened, would have a massive impact on EFL clubs reduced TV revenue being the obvious one.
