Willock 22:04 - Nov 29 with 6591 views | CiderwithRsie | OK, following on from the Warburton thread: Willock: best winger since - who? (I'm not having either Chair or Taraabt as wingers.)
Willock on 22:06 - Nov 29 with 4920 views | BrianMcCarthy | Willock's not really a winger, though, is he?
| |
Willock on 22:12 - Nov 29 with 4857 views | CiderwithRsie | Hmmm. Know what you mean. But he crosses the ball like one, no?
Willock on 22:17 - Nov 29 with 4794 views | bosh67 | He's on another planet this kid. And we were worried about who was going to replace BOS! This kid is streets ahead of him.

Willock on 22:27 - Nov 29 with 4681 views | CliveWilsonSaid | Closest player I can think of is Tricky Trev?
| |
Willock on 22:36 - Nov 29 with 4592 views | OakR | I actually think he is the closest we've had to Tarrabt. Different player, but lots of similarites. Can drift wide and cross / create assists, can score, always looking for the ball, links up with Chair with way Tarrabt would with Faurlin. Clear differences also and Tarrabt's 18 goals and assists, he was on another planet, but Willock is different and more of a team player. Either way love having him with us, but him and Chair together are so good.

Willock on 22:46 - Nov 29 with 4467 views | terryb | People I know are beginning to believe that I was right in the summer when I told them he was better than his brother. NO Newcastle, we won't do an exchange!
Willock on 22:47 - Nov 29 with 4452 views | CliveWilsonSaid | Yes in the first half in one attack they were both down the right wing. Next attack they were both down the left. I can't remember seeing anything like it.

Willock on 22:52 - Nov 29 with 4395 views | dmm | Warburton gave an interesting response to a question about Willock in the Sky post match interview. He basically said Willock needs to believe in how good he really is. Warburton obviously rates him very highly indeed.
Willock on 22:52 - Nov 29 with 4393 views | DWQPR | Sinton. Like Andy Sinton he is good with both feet, can run at people and provides good accurate crosses and knows where the back of the net is. He is also better than his £25million brother. Chair and Willock really know each other’s game. Can’t think of another pair of players who are almost telepathic than Stan and Gerry.

Willock on 22:54 - Nov 29 with 4366 views | dannyblue | I know this is a willock thread, but one of chair’s great abilities is he forms these right partnerships with other talented players. He did it with Eze too of course.
Willock on 22:59 - Nov 29 with 4310 views | Toast_R | Warburton's coaching is second to none. Not many players he's coached at QPR haven't improved. If I were Osayi-Samuel now I'd be punching my agents face.
Willock on 23:01 - Nov 29 with 4283 views | kensalriser | Never occurred to me that Willock is a winger, more a roaming right-sided attacking midfielder. Tremendous player who'll be in the PL sooner rather than later.
| |
Willock on 23:12 - Nov 29 with 4178 views | Beckenhamhoop | It’s the ‘sooner’ bit that worries me. I’d be amazed if we don’t get an offer for Willock in January.
Willock on 23:18 - Nov 29 with 4118 views | DWQPR | Always a sellers market in January and it will take some money to shift him. Warburton has already mentioned Chair and £25million in the same sentence.
| |
Willock on 23:24 - Nov 29 with 4063 views | danehoop | Its the strangest things. Those two would be excellent in any Premiership side and you know that they would both hold their own. If they were playing on the continent they would be the subject of bids upwards of 20M per player. But they are at QPR so the bids will somehow be lower when they come in. My suspicion is that it will be a European club coming in for Chair and possibly Willock, both would fit well in Spain, Italy or Germany.
| Never knowingly understood |

Willock on 01:35 - Nov 30 with 3817 views | Superhoops2808 | My Arsenal mate says we got the best brother - He is so annoyed they let him go
Willock on 04:59 - Nov 30 with 3650 views | Match82 | That's the thing though, I would have agreed two years ago. But now, with the way we dealt with the Eze situation... It just feels like that's a sign that we aren't there to be taken advantage of anymore. Can't remember the last time I felt like we'd actually get market rate for one of our players if they did go. You want our best players now? Cough up.
Willock on 05:31 - Nov 30 with 3619 views | swisscottage | Goddard and Allen
Willock on 07:47 - Nov 30 with 3385 views | LazyFan | Sinton only really played on the left wing and cut inside as he was that mythical both footed player. Adel was a floating AM, who often played on the left as he liked to cut inside to shoot, pass, cross (outside of right foot) and get penalties.
| |
Willock on 08:16 - Nov 30 with 3322 views | BrianMcCarthy | True. He's a real all-rounder.
| |
Willock on 08:47 - Nov 30 with 3267 views | EastR | yeah, but is he any good in nets?
| |
Willock on 10:38 - Nov 30 with 3059 views | toboboly | Dozzell's recent improvement seems to have come with his syncing with Chair and Willock as well. V Huddersfield there were some fantastic passing and movement between the 3 of them.
| Sexy Asian dwarves wanted. |

Willock on 12:40 - Nov 30 with 2934 views | DavieQPR | Don't think you can pin Willock down to a particular role. He drifts all over the front as does Chair. Sometimes together, sometimes alone. It's what makes them so hard to mark.
Willock on 13:07 - Nov 30 with 2885 views | GroveR | 100% this.
