We now get eleven months of the US Presidential campaign.

Who will win? Will it matter? Can any of them beat Trump?

Biden/Harris for me although the GOP has threatened to impeach Biden if he wins. (if they have house majority)

Don`t you think Biden and Sanders are way too old?

Who else is there? Warren maybe. Bloomberg could be the ace up the sleeve

To be honest I haven`t followed it closely, Jane. The little I`ve seen I thought Pete Buttgieg came across reasonably well, but I have no clue what will happen.

77 is just to old for me. Physically and mentally I think it is too much for virtually anyone at that age...

Mayor Pete is excellent but sadly won’t get the votes.

Biden damaged goods now. Agree Sanders too old. Not sure any of the others measure up at the moment, as they have to win back those mid west states Trumpy took, to have any chance of winning.

Trump obviously feels threatened by Biden.

I think Trump is so pathetically insecure he feels threatened by anyone...

Trumpy is a bully. Always worth keeping an eye out for who of the front runners he attacks the least, that'll be who he's scared off.

Oddly, for a long time he seemed quite respectful to (`Crazy`) Nancy Pelosi - unusually for him - but that`s all changed now...

The only two people he respects are Putin and Kim Jong-un

That doesn’t seem to have gone well. Results in chaos.

After all their problems in 2016, bit of a nightmare start.

Apparently the results are on a train that was last seen heading for Charing Cross.....

For a First World Country their electoral processes are shockingly primitive.

Yep, just like their president....

He is the elected president and I would not bet against him doing it again.

Does this mean we are "superior" to the American public or at least those on the winning side.

Yes the same argument exists with Boris. Do we have the right to call our neighbours and friends because we have a "greater wisdom" than them.

It could be a long time waiting to say "I told you so".

Bloomberg is the best democratic candidate imo but Sanders is way ahead in the polls so far,

Sanders is way to socialist for mainstream America so im pretty sure its going to be 4 more years of Donald Trump.

No man is rich enough to buy back his past.

Not quite sure what you`re driving at there, Imp.

Don`t think any of the posts has mentioned `superiority` or `greater wisdom`, or implied that in relation to American public.

Seaside 13:

I can`t believe that Sanders is fit for office now at 78 - and with heart problems. Same with Biden, just too old. Says a lot about the quality on offer I suppose that the polls are in favour of Sanders.

It`s a shame he didn`t run against Trump in 2016, but the Democrats bungled that themselves...
