You know what, I think you are right.

Funny, only have a few examples of the type of thing I was thinking.
LVG at Ajax is one, Ferguson, Moyes, but generally it is far from the norm. Just thought that Paul Clement might be a better place to start than others.

Anyways!

Sorry, I am not saying now but being transparent and laying the foundations for a handover at the end of next season does seems prudent.

Harry deserves his moment in the sun but the club needs to be open about what they really want, even if it behind the scenes and not in our or the players interest now.

Precisely the connection and the opportunity to build from the ground up and make us great.

We have always been harsh on Adel whenever he has not had an outstanding game. Even when we were going down, I can`t pick him out as the problem within the team just he could not produce the magic to keep us up, I can`t say it was total lack of effort, it didn´t seem to be. Regularly he plays better than his team mates, even when rubbish by his own standards.
Messi and Ronaldo can be average but have quality around them to give them time, he has never had that.

Alot of fantastic players have average performances but the difference is what they can do that others just cannot. They can turn it on, make football exciting and change a game.

As much as I admire Harry and the current set up and I mean that. Will they develop the new managers to come in.

The potential is joey B and a Clint Hill management team but rarely have players succeeded in management in the top flight, especially straight away. Am I wrong!

We have exciting plans for a new training ground and stadium, lots of money being spent on building a cement structure but surely we need to start thinking about the personnel structure.

TF preaches consistency as he builds for the future. Who do we have for that.
The potential is exciting for a hungry manager who wants to build and make a real name for himself.

Paul Clement would be a man I would trying to get in ? Knows how a club works from Academy level and is a class act.

I know its early days but if Harry and his team last more than another season I will be surprised.

Harry cannot cope with him, strange isn´t it. How did Warnock?

Genius does not come wrapped up with a pretty bow and a how to use manual!

Did anyone see Adel´s first goal for Milan...

Harry prefers grafters generally but he has a history of managing players that can be disruptive and problematic like Merson and Di Canio, but only if they want to play for the team. He is not daft!. If Adel wants to really be part of his set up and is prepared to tow the line then Harry should try and keep him. I just don´t think the personalities match. Nothing in common other than football.

I just don´t think it is Adel´s fault but his compatibility with the English football culture more than anything.

Totally agree ``population paste´´ everywhere at the time over Barton.

The game is littered with this type of going on, deal with it and accept it.

I want to see a QPR with a bit of flair and fight rather than just fight. Surely that is who we are..
If the current team spirit cannot incorporate a maverick then we have something wrong with the set up.
How did and do teams cope with Maradona, Suarez, Stoichkov,, Best, Ronaldinho, Romario, Hugo Sanchez , Ibrahimovic, Gazza, Milla even our own Bowles & Marsh had enough issues to unite and divide a dressing room at times, the lot as mad and irresponsible as a bunch of frogs on acid?
Not sure that Adel is with this group, certainly not yet but with his confidence back and the right handling he is as near as we will get, to being our very own world talent.

Have not been on here for a long time, been too busy celebrating our massive win.

With everything calm now, we should be able to analyse our last year in the Championship.
Reality is that we were very poor in our last 4 months of the season, granted we had injuries but still, we were lucky to go up. Steve Black may have helped to get us over the line with building a team spirit but Wigan and Derby were better than us in nearly every aspect.

Team spirit will not keep us up, but will give us a good fighting chance, in order for us to survive comfortably and push on we need some quality7classy play makers who fit into the team. If not Adel,it will have to be somebody else, aka: Townsend or Morrison. We totally lack creativity for the premier league and can´t see our current midfield keeping us up.

I love Adel for his genius on his day. I hope we have a future with him in it, happy and confident, wanting to be part of things and shine. Somehow I feel too many pieces are missing for this puzzle.

froch v groves
at 14:32 26 Nov 2013

Stoppage too early.

He may have got knocked out or may not have. There are moments in fights like this where fighters go through bad periods. Who is to say if he knocked down and got up he would have not have survived the round and regrouped for the next knowing that he has to change his game plan.

Groves is a clever boxer and know his strengths and weaknesses. Fitness would not have been an issue. There were times early in the fight where Froch looked outclassed and it could have got worse for him but he came back stronger. Groves should have had the same opportunity.

This is world title fighting after all!

By far the most entertaining players we have had in the last 30 years or more.

I hope he settles not sure he will but he will always be remembered well by me for some of best goals I have seen, not to mention making opposing teams look like chumps when he was on fire.

Jesus, what a contrast between Olly and Hughes.

Class act. Both he and the board have made mistakes aka QPR and he has held his hands up and left.

A bit unfair to say that he is not cut out to be a PL manager.

He gets unglamourous teams promoted against all the odds but its bloody hard to make the changes in three months to become a PL team., especially when funds are few and nobody of quality wants to play for them, not to mention the ones you do actually get then have to gel. Give him a break.

If he went to half of the middle table teams in the PL, they would be better under him. Will he win things, doubt it but I think he is a good manager given the opportunity to consolidate and build as opposed to fighting for survival and then building. Which many many managers find hard.
