Sergio Ramos 02:09 - Nov 7 with 4991 views | Hooparoo | It’s 2-0 after 13 minutes and 18 year old Rodrygo is on a hat trick. Real are awarded a penalty so what does Ramos do? Takes it himself. What an @rse! 😬

Sergio Ramos on 08:33 - Nov 7 with 4115 views | LunarJetman | Seems like the right choice to me. 2-0 up is nothing these days. Get to a strong position first and then worry about helping kids get hatricks!
Sergio Ramos on 09:15 - Nov 7 with 4055 views | Hooparoo | Ramos is a c@nt. Rodrygo woukd have been the first 18 year old to score a hat trick in only 13 minutes in the Champs League. Team captain shows no leadership. Fail.

He would be if he let the kid take it, he misses, opposition gets one back and momentum of game completely changes. You don't change nominated penalty taker unless it is the last minute and victory is certain. It's team before individual glory.
Sergio Ramos on 10:39 - Nov 7 with 3944 views | SonofNorfolt | Ramos is a c@nt though. Taking this penalty is about the last c@nty thing he has done. In Spain they say he would switch off the life support machine of his grandmother if it meant winning. At least twenty five sendings off, and that figure should be more. Shame really because he is a good player.

"You don't change nominated penalty taker unless it is the last minute and victory is certain." True. Always remember that home game against Barnsley (first of the season I think) when Dowie was manager where One Size had got two goals in the first half to put us 2-1 in front and we got a penalty in the last few minutes. One Size took it so he could get a hat trick rather than leaving it to the regular taker who I think at the time was Blackstock. He missed but thankfully it didn't come back to bite us on the arse.

I remember that one well, I was there and Hall was very apologetic to the fans afterwards.

I remember post match that they tried to claim that Hall was the designated penalty taker too

Sergio Ramos on 20:36 - Nov 7 with 3507 views | Benny_the_Ball | With the bulk of the game remaining and the scoreline only 2-0 it was absolutely the right call for the captain to decide that he, as designated penalty taker, should take the penalty. The penalty was converted and Rodrygo got his hat-trick anyway so Ramos was vindicated. If Ramos had allowed Rodrygo to take it only for the boy to miss I'd be questioning Ramos' captaincy. Excellent comparison. He's a better player than Terry ever was, but you're right that both are/were overrated.

Sergio Ramos on 12:39 - Nov 8 with 3261 views | gazza1 | John Terry and Ramos were proper decent Centre Halves who played top level football. I watched John Terry with much interest when we played Chelsea at home in the Premiership. He ran the team from front to back, marshalling his team fantastically well. His own performance was excellent as well. The players showed utmost respect to his decision making.

Sergio Ramos on 16:47 - Nov 8 with 3102 views | paulparker | Ramos has been one of the best centre backs in world football the last 15 years , I’d take him any day at QPR or for England
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

He is a cynical cheating dirty bastard who has managed to only get sent off 25 times in his career when it should be double that amount. No thanks. He would be better suited at Preston or Leeds.

I agree. It's always amazed me how he's managed to not get booked or sent off numerous times for cynical or dirty challenges or being in the referee's face. Having said that I saw Real Madrid at home recently and the noise the crowd makes is phenomenal and hard to stand up to. Even though they were 3-0 up after twenty minutes they were baying for every decision to go their way. I really think it influences referees.

As much as the game has changed and everyone has to be a passing centre back you still need a Ramos in your team , if he was that Sh1t then he wouldn’t of played for Real or Spain so many times and won world cups and European cups, the bloke is a winner nothing wrong in that

He's garbage compared to van dyke whose defending skills won't need him to be sent off 25 times
Sergio Ramos on 00:36 - Nov 9 with 2878 views | FredManRave | Can't believe how Gerard Pique hasn't even got a mention yet on this thread! What a despicable man. Not specifically for what he's doing on the field but more for who he's doing off it. As if having a succesfull career playing for Barcelona earning millions of Euors wasn't enough. Bástard.

Sergio Ramos on 04:00 - Nov 9 with 2835 views | SonofNorfolt | One of the masters of the dark arts in recent years is undoubtedly Ricardo Carvalho, yet he didn't try and regularly smash forward's tibias to bits in such an uncompromising way as Ramos. The 'taking out' of Mo Salah in the CL final last year was clinical nastiness at an almost genius level. Do you remember his challenges on Messi in 2017? The game where Messi showed how brilliant he is, as Ramos is dismissed, his outrage is almost comical in his belief of injustice. A compound fracture to any one of his bones should not be mourned. And burn his holiday home down.
