We've had previous threads on the best XI but, prompted by a Facebook discussion about the worst player, how about the worst team. I suggest we do not go back into the 1950s and 1960s. Those who were there then (incl me) probably can't remeber as well as they think.

I dare say this player is so completely hopeless that you have permanently erased him from your memories, but surely Pellicori must be the first name on the team sheet?
I play at a low level, usually in some sort of defensive role, but my finishing is more deadly than his and I have more pace, even at the grand old age of 49! He was so woeful my heart bled from him. Making him turn out for us in a Championship game was an act of cruelty.

Surprisingly Hughezzzz is only 9th from bottom in the table of win percentages of QPR managers with 25%, as in 8 wins in 32 games. He is top of the table in the table of wánker percentages of QPR managers with 100%.

First game I took my boys to was at home v Spuds - Falco scored the only goal (for us!). He wasn't great by any means, but not as bad as others, Dowie, Hateley, Leon Clarke, Stefan Moore to name but a few.

Compared with Caesar, I can't go with Rehman, who started OK and got rapidly worse. But, in that first season where him and Stewart played together, go back and see how many goals Stewart gave away. The difference was that Stewart got better second season. Once fans started getting on Zesh's back, his confidence went completely. | |

Michael Meaker. How did I forget.
Didn't try a leg. Just as well because he only had one. Head-down shoeless merchant who never worked on his game in the slightest so continually forced to run around like a clockwork mouse. When the little bit of stamina he had was spent, the full back would saunter past his collapsed pigeon-chested corpse, avoiding his razor-sharp Elvis haircut, and collect the ball. Had the odd shot. Very odd. Liked to hit the ball into the School End. Used to rotate it between Upper and Lower. Consequently, always known by our crew as End-of-Move Meaker.
Left Rangers for Reading and pronounced himself delighted. Reading was a great move for him, he stated, as it was just down the road!

These things are always tricky, do you base it on disappointment/falling below expectations? or do you go for people you generally feel you were better than at Football.
For disappointment/expectations you can’t look much further than Bosingwa, Park, Hateley, Zelic, Samba. But all of them, even Hateley showed glimpses of what they could do (if only he’d taken that penalty on debut...)
Now the following list of players are people that got lucky, ones that should be paying to play, not earning money wearing the Hoops, players that sum up the quality of the English coaching system and show perfectly why England are, and have been for some time, inferior, non technical Footballers.
Step forward Eric Sabin (French I know), Karl Ready, Richard Paquette, Lee Charles and the player that not only made me think I could make it, but made me believe a goalscoring future lied ahead, the one and only Stuart Wardley. I take the point they tried and worked hard, but with guys like Adel and Faurlin, it’s been like watching up market American porn over the last few seasons, back then a night vision dogging video was as good as it got (where have I heard that before...?) In goal, Tony Roberts.
We had a great team back when the Prem started and yet suffered Tony Robert’s butter fingers and ineptness for seasons on end. He was never a Premiership quality goalkeeper. Remember the farcical situation where he was ahead of Stejskal and at one point was temporarily replaced by Bob Corolgees lookalike Sieb Dystra?
Defence
Zesh Rehman, awful, and so far out of his depth I actually felt sorry for him.
John Curtis, Insanely bad, I know we were skint but what was that all about?
Danny Murphy, I wanted him to do well so bad but third tier football and he wasn’t good enough and that’s as bad as we’ve got since I’ve been following. Does anyone remember the Tranmere goal he goofed on?
Steve Morrow. The ass who fell off a Donkey and broke his arm. Unlucky for him he was paired with an injury prone uninspiring back 4 the season we were relegated. I remember going to a depressing grey day in Watford and seeing him try to gee up his defence and seconds later being culpable for two corners gifted to Watford on a plate. Things like that stay with you.
Midfield.
Tommy Docherty. Joey Barton on steroids without the footballing brain.
George Kulscar, What did he actually do? What was he even doing there?
Matthew Rose, posh boy plays football. Whoops he injured again, 6 months later….
Tony Scully, the boy could run but he was dreadful apart from that freak goal against Palace.
Brett Angel. Way over the top, fat and looked like some ones dad filling in for on his teenage sons crap team.
Eric Sabin. Looked the part but was just rubbish and nothing you could add.

As you can see I rarely post on this site but this is a subject dear to my heart. At the Colchester away leg of the league cup a decade or so ago a few of us in the seats came up with a complete team but I can't remeber all that we picked. Besides I've had to change a full back recently. i have gone back to the 60's for one player & a few fropm the 70's.
Manager Mullery, assisted by Docherty. Give me Harford or Hart any day over those two.
