Week 3 results LIVERPOOL 3 AFC BOURNEMOUTH 1 Summer signing Alexis Mac Allister was sent off in his first home match for Liverpool but they still overpowered Bournemouth in a thrilling match at Anfield. A sublime 5 got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome. WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 1 BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION 4 A stunning solo goal from Kaoru Mitoma and a second-half double from Solly March helped Brighton cruise to victory and make it two wins from two at the start of the season. Nobody had this spot-on, but 19 did get the outcome, with 13 going for a 2-1 in what is the weeks most predicted score. BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 HULL CITY 2 Substitute Aaron Connolly scored two late goals to give Hull their first away win of the season, as they came from behind to beat 10-man Blackburn. Only 2 got this spot-on, and nobody had the outcome. 24 predicted a win for Blackburn. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 0 PRESTON NORTH END 1 Wednesday remain pointless after Liam Lindsay's bullet header early in the second half won it for Preston, who remain undefeated so far this season. 3 had this spot-on, and 2 more got the outcome. 15 predicted a win for Wednesday. CARLISLE UNITED 0 EXETER CITY 2 Ryan Trevitt and Demitri Mitchell scored second-half goals to give Exeter victory. Nobody got this spot-on, though 4 did have the outcome. 14 predicted a win for Carlisle. CREWE ALEXANDRA 2 WALSALL 2 A 94th minute equaliser from Jack Powell salvaged Crewe a point, as they came from two goals down. Well done to durham_exile for being the only one to have this spot-on, and another 7 got the outcome. 18 predicted a win for Crewe. Don't you just love the unpredictability of the early season games. Our 6 games this week had members predicting there would be five home wins and one away win. Instead we almost had the opposite, of one home win, and five aways, if it wasn't for that late Crewe equaliser. Tough going then, but at least the one home win was a predictable one, with the win for Liverpool giving us 42% of the weeks total points, and almost half of the weeks eleven 3 pointers. Those spot-ons were shared out with eleven members getting one each. There was a four-way tie for the weeks top scorer, with those involved being thrillseeker and burnsieespana, who both had the Hull 2-1, oxfcolu, who got the Liverpool 3-1, and finally durham_exile, with that good Crewe 2-2. They each also had two outcomes, to give them all a solid 5 points. In the Premier The top three remains the same, but things couldn't be any closer, as they are only divided by the tie-breaker rules. Having the Preston 1-0 spot-on kept concordman top on the most 3 pointer rule from thrillseeker, who in turn remains second on the first to post rule from oxfcolu. Three outcomes for noah4x4, and he remains fourth. Remaining fifth for the third week running is Moor_Pinot, after he got the Liverpool 3-1 spot-on. The first change in this division has RSCOSWORTH, with his three outcomes, moving up a place into the top half for the first time this season. Three outcomes also for blueeagle, and he moves up a place. The final upward move came from mfb_cufc, as having the Preston 1-0 spot-on, moved him out the bottom three, where he is replaced by Sector4. The bottom two places remain the same for the third week running. In Division One Three outcomes each for the top two means there is no change, with BFG maintaining a one point lead over Daniel. The top scoring performance from burnsieespana moves him up three places to third. Getting the Liverpool 3-1 spot-on keeps Tropical_Us in fourth. Just the one outcome was enough for basher2010 to remain in the play-offs. Up three places into the final play-off spot is Lewis_1, after he was another to have the Liverpool 3-1 spot-on. The top scoring performance for durham_exile moved him up three places, but it will be no consolation for the collapse of his beloved U's. The other member to get the Preston 1-0 spot-on was bwildered, and that moved him up a couple of places. The final member to get the Liverpool 3-1 spot-on was Jorash63, to give him his first Happy League 3 pointer. THE TABLES (18 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 4 Fixtures The first guest week of the season, and as is tradition, 10 games picked by the current Premier champ mfb_cufc MANCHESTER UNITED v NOTTINGHAM FOREST COVENTRY CITY v SUNDERLAND IPSWICH TOWN v LEEDS UNITED WEST BROMWICH ALBION v MIDDLESBROUGH BRISTOL ROVERS v WYCOMBE WANDERERS FLEETWOOD TOWN v SHREWSBURY TOWN STEVENAGE v PORTSMOUTH NEWPORT COUNTY v SUTTON UNITED SALFORD CITY v ACCRINGTON STANLEY SWINDON TOWN v CRAWLEY TOWN Good luck everybody.
