Not sure if others spotted this but it looks like there’s train strikes on the first, so fair to assume most who’ve bought tickets might now be stuck.
We managed to change ours to Flybe flights back down for £40 which was decent. |  | | |  |

As it’s Aslef strike it most South west trains should run up to Waterloo
London North East trans will probably run reduced service from Newcastle to
Kings Cross but Lumo trains on same line should run as normal [Post edited 28 Jan 2023 8:17]

I decided not take a risk and just booked the flight as it’s so cheap, should be able to claim the cash back with delay repay on the return anyway so it’s effectively £20 more to fly and takes a fraction of the time | | | |

Not sure anyone here is saying they don’t support the stories. Unlike the blue few down the road we’re not scabs.

Train services despite strike not too bad
South Western trains running pretty much normal service, Lumo trains running normal timetable
LNER running a train roughly every hour from 7.30 until 9.57 then every 2 hours after that
