A slightly earlier winner than the norm but a satisfying 3 points .
Nice to hear Stewart on the pitch . Any good moves ?

A good win. A game with few chances but some good take aways.
West Brom dominated after half time for first 20 mins and should have scored when Challobah glanced the cross bar, Would have liked to see subs on earlier as we were struggling.
The 2 CB's played very well and Holgate had his best game today,
Bazunu also had a good game and made a key save at the end. After we scored the 2nd we looked a bit more composed.
Stewart come on and got good reception. Hard to judge him on this, but looks like he will be a handful for defenders,
West Brom played well, made it hard for us and will be there or thereabouts at the end of season.

Another vital three points.
Hard earned against decent opposition.
We always seem to make hard work of it but we're grinding out precious points.
Holgate & Harwood Bellis were both excellent today ; dealt with most of what WBA threw at us.
Were were outplayed at times particularly in 2nd half when we lost control of the midfield.
We never threatened much going forward but good clinical strike by AA.
It's very noticeable that most of the Championship sides are physically much bigger than us & we look lightweight at times. | | | |

Good performance today but as said WBA looked a good side and bossed most the second half
Mainly because we dropped off
Harwood Bellis looks a player
And credit to Holgate he stepped up today
Thought the 3 subs again were poor RM got those wrong I thought
Adams really looks like he can’t be bothered
Fraser brings something every time

Having watched the stream, especially in the second half, WBA were far more positive than Saints. Always looking for a forward pass and making probing runs off the ball. We, even more so once Manning was playing at left back, managed to move the ball from the wing in a threatening position on the edge of the attacking third, back to our goal keeper in two passes. Obviously inviting the pressure back onto our defence. If you're going to gift the ball away let it be in their penalty area not ours! We also never looked as vulnerable as we do at our own corners, a very good tactical foul by Holgate saved us big yesterday. |  | | |
